Liked: A feel of being within a natural environment of woodland and waterways away from the road was very peaceful. Deer roaming freely, access to woodland and river path from the site. Roger was very friendly with a greeting on arrival.
Disliked: Not so much a dislike but more of an improvement. Signage on site could be improved. Signage for bins as they are tucked away out of sight. Signage on the utilty block could be clearer, directional signs for all woodland access paths would be a big bonus.

Liked: The peaceful setting and the views were amazing. Lots of walks nearby and handy having 2 golf courses on the doorstep. Clean toilets and showers. A garden centre and pub both serving food within a short walk. We also lucky with the weather sunny and dry every day. We didn’t want to leave .
Disliked: Would have been nice to have a shop close by and a small reception with more local information as we live 7 hours away so nobody really to ask . Showers although very clean were not very hot or powerful.

Liked: Lovely site which is nice and quiet. The pitches are quite big and nicely spaced out and great if you own a basecamp! The toilets were clean and modern.
I was un decided if the pitch was a bit pricey but given they include an awning it seems a fair price.
The site is ideal for anyone who likes walking and cycling. The site backs onto a trail which heads all way way to Morecome and Lancaster. Not much for kids to do, so seems a great spot for adults. Also not too far a walk from a decent pub.
We had no interaction with the owners other than a text. However did respond to questions.
Disliked: The lane is riddled with pot holes and half of it is gravel as you arrive onto site. I have low profiles so had to crawl at snail pace down the lane to the site.
Make sure you do not follow sat nav, it will try to take you down unsuitable narrow lanes to site. Follow the A6 to Lancaster and come back on yourself to stay on A roads.

Liked: The tranquility was wonderful - what a beautiful setting! We even saw a deer one night!
What an absolute bonus to find the canal path that we used to get to Lancaster on and the lovely local pub called The Stork.
The wash block was very clean and modern facilities.
Disliked: It would be nice to add in some fairy lights and windchimes to add to the ambience of the site.

Liked: Warm, clean, shower block with proper facilities, and underfloor heating. Easy to check in. Good local pub. Used for a one night stopover to the Lakes and was perfect. It was cold, rainy and windy but we were sheltered in the park, which is set in lovely surroundings. Close to M6. Would stay again.
