Liked: Very well-kept site, easy to access via ANPR on gate. Lovely play area for children and grassy space for games. Large, mostly level pitches. Very quiet and calm when we visited. WiFi worked well on the pitch which was an unexpected perk. Toilet and shower facilities were clean and well-maintained (although limited in number).

Liked: Lovely location with views, clean toilets, tidy small campsite atmosphere. Darwen is an interesting place to visit with Georgian and Victorian architecture, a treasure trove of an antiques hall and the walk to the tower is very enjoyable.
Disliked: A short section of public footpath in the field seemed closed off/deterring people from using it. Lots of signs with private property/ keep off the grass is understandable but a little unwelcoming compared to other working farm campsites. The road is a safe alternative with pavement.

Liked: As returning guests we love the peaceful location, pitches are large and shower rooms/ toilets are clean. Always helpful.
Was alone for 9 hrs and felt very comfortable.
Disliked: We was on the far end and people with dogs take their dogs there, I had to clean up 3 poos before I could let my dog out.

Liked: So this site is right on top of a hill so the views are absolutely amazing, especially on a clear night. Staff couldn't have been friendlier, fresh farm eggs available to buy, loads of walks / trails around, play area was great, facilities were clean. We had a great time.
Disliked: Nothing!
