Three miles from Blackpool! If you want to pitch up near the Pleasure Beach, give things a whirl at Pipers Height Caravan Park, set in 60 acres of greenery an easy drive or bus ride from the city sights and lights. Pipers Height doesn't like to toot its own horn, but it's got a pretty solid reputation for its high standards as a family-run park, with newly renovated and spotlessly kept amenities including toilet and shower blocks with underfloor heating, separate disabled and family facilities, and a well-maintained laundry room with coin-operated machines, an iron and an ironing board. Also on site is an adventure playground with zipwire (for the kids to reach heady heights at) and a well-stocked shop (for ice-cream afterwards). And if you're planning to boogie the night away in Blackpool? Get a bus from the nearby Tesco into town for a couple of quid; taxis back should cost about a tenner. Party on.

Liked: I like this camp because it's so quiet if u like it quiet there's play area at top so if u like it quiet u can go more nearer the shops or middle the staff are very good and helpful the camp is very clean and so the bathrooms showers are cleaned regularly we like are pitch 21 my dog loves this she relaxing very well u have to have your dog on lead but not everyone does which they sopose to but other than that it ok l like the shop just in case u run out of stuff

Disliked: There's nothing to dislike it nice camp

Liked: Spotless spacious shower and toilet facilities- even had underfloor heating, and great onsite shop. The site itself was also really well maintained and spotless.

Disliked: Nothing!

Liked: The staff. Very friendly and accommodating.
The location was perfect for local attentions.
The site was clean and well set out. Lots of space between units

Disliked: The amenities block wasn't central so a bit of a long walk from our pitch. More of an issue for my teenage daughter.

To Blackpool! The Pleasure Beach theme park, autumn illuminations and Blackpool Tower don't need much of an intro: if you haven't been before, go and plunge in. The Pleasure Beach theme park has been going strong since 1896 and is the most visited attraction in all the land, with the biggest number of rollercoasters of any theme park in Britain. The Big One, the tallest rollercoaster in the UK (once the world) will give anyone a big drop in their tum on its very big drops: very highly recommended. A climb up Blackpool Tower and a delve into Blackpool Tower Dungeon should be next, before trips to Blackpool's three other main attractions: Blackpool Zoo, set in 32 acres and with over 1,500 animals; Blackpool Sea Life Centre, where over 2,000 inhabitants live in 50+ displays, and the city's Sandcastle Waterpark, the biggest indoor waterpark in the UK. And if your little people were round-eyed at Blackpool Zoo, they should also like the award-winning Farmer Parr's Animal World in nearby Fleetwood, to see farm animals, rare breeds and some more exotic, non-native species.

Admission is only permitted after registering at reception.

Arrivals and departures

Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.
No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.

Dogs

Dogs must be kept on leashes and supervised at all times.
The campground/park does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Breed-specific legislation (i.e. Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro) and/or any of the following: Staffordshire bull terrier, American Staffordshire terrier, Rottweiler, any Mastiff or Tosa.

Bookings are nominative and non-transferable.
Converted campervans, folding campers, flags, bunting, streamers and solar lights, washing lines and rotary lines are not permitted.
In the event of a complaint, please speak to reception immediately. Complaints which are not brought to the management's attention during your stay cannot be dealt with once you have left the site.
Quiet hours must be respected between 11 p.m. and 9 a.m..
Radio, music and TV players must be kept at a low volume. Car doors and trunks must be closed quietly.
The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behavior is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.

Only one car is to be parked at the site. Extra vehicles must be parked in the designated area.

Visitors

Visitors’ cars are not permitted on site.
Visitors must register at reception and pay their fee.

Additional terms

Children must play ball games in the recreational area only. If children wish to ride their bikes/scooters they may do so around the touring park only at the designated 5mph speed limit. Children are more than welcome in the clubhouse but they must be accompanied by an adult.

Rock pegs are required if you want to erect an awning.
