What customers say

Guests loved the peaceful vibe and comfy, clean, well-equipped pod. The site was well-maintained, and hosts were praised for communication and helpfulness. Close to pumpkin picking and castles. Weather was the only downside.

Honeysuckle camping pod

Liked Lovely little set up and very approachable owners who live on site ready to tend to any issues you may have. My children loved the wild meadow and outdoor relaxation areas which where fenced in and kept them busy and safe.

Local attractions

The site’s a 10-minute drive from the Sandstone Trail for 35 miles’ worth of a long-distance path following – you guessed it – sandstone ridges. Shoot off to Alderford Lake, also a 10-minute drive, for shorter strolls or hotfoot it to Hawkstone Park Follies (around 20 minutes), a protected wooden landscape of cliffs, crags and caves. Switch gazing at rocky structures for gawping at stately buildings with trips to Cholmondeley Castle Gardens (15 minutes), Bolesworth Castle (20 mins) and Beeston Castle (25 minutes); guests could also forage in the forest at Delamere – the biggest section of woodland in the country and 40 minutes’ drive from the site. For activities that are a little more left of field, horse riding centres, cookery schools, candle-making workshops and an ice cream farm are all within a 30-minute drive of the park.
