What customers say

A quiet, adults-only site with level pitches. Owner Julie is praised for being friendly and welcoming. Basic facilities with metered electric. Good value, convenient location for Nantwich and M6. Some traffic noise; units must be self-contained.

Power optional cement/asphalt and grass travel trailer campsite

Liked Good sized pitches with the option to have electric hook-up. Quiet and peaceful. Would stay again if price remains competitive. Really liked the metered electricity, we didn't require it this time, so we didn't have to pay for something we didn't need.

Power optional grass and gravel travel trailer campsite

Liked The price. The owner was very welcoming

Disliked The electric post for all 4 pitches was set on the middle making it difficult to manoeuvre around. We found the cost of the electric quite expensive although the price of the pitch made up for it

Power optional cement/asphalt and grass travel trailer campsite

Liked Good peaceful campsite, large pitches on gravel and grass, near to M6 . We had a lovely 4 night stay here. Julie the owner came and met with us during our stay, very friendly and chatty. We will be staying again in September on our way through that area to Blackpool. Highly recommend.

Local attractions

Make sure you’ve got some space left in your tourer, as there’s some good retail therapy going on around here – as well as those markets in Nantwich, you might like to stop by at Dagfields Craft & Antiques or Bridgemere Garden Centre (both 10 minutes’ drive). There are lots of shops in Chester (40 minutes) too, of course – along with some gorgeous black-and-white houses, a medieval cathedral and the only intact set of defensive city walls in the UK. It’s easy enough to make a full day out in the city, but you could tag on a trip to Chester Zoo or Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet too if you like. Staying closer to home, it’s worth seeking out Hack Green Secret Nuclear Bunker (10 minutes) for a dip into 20th-century military history – and you may also like to book in a gin tour and tasting at Three Wrens Distillery (10 minutes). It’s about the same drive time to Coole Acres Fishery for those who are handy with a rod.
