What customers say
Great, quiet spot with lovely views, steps from beaches & pubs. Spacious, level field. Basic but clean portaloos & water points. Some want better facilities in peak season, but most loved it and want to come back.

Great pop up campsite
Primitive grass RV campsite
Liked We loved our night here! We’ve got a toddler and it was his first camping experience - the field was easy to find and access and it’s not overcrowded so we were able to pick a huge space and not encroach on anyone else. The toilet and water facilities are adequate and as advertised. The owner was friendly and spent time answering our questions about where to walk and eat - and addressed our worries about the wind!! There are two pubs - one within throwing distance, where we had a nice pub meal for dinner and another 20-30 mins of all away where we enjoyed lunch outside the next day. Beaches are superb!

Basic, cheap and beautiful.
Primitive grass RV campsite
Liked Found this online as we were driving up the Northumberland coast and booked as we drove on.
Just a massive field, plenty of space and country air. Chemical waste, rubbish bin and portable toilets. Short walk down to a lovely small cove with crystal clear water.
Pub is a short walk away or another one down the road in Low Newton. Again, easily walkable. Not many free places to park on the coast up here, so this was ideal.
No frills site and cheap at £20.

Good basic pop up site.
Primitive grass RV campsite
Liked Basic pop up campsite with limited facilities and the price reflects that. Large open field, rough cut grass with plenty of space to not feel hemmed in or on top of your camping neighbours.
Stayed only one night but it was incredibly peaceful, all of the units were mindful of their neighbours and there was not a peep of noise overnight.
No tents allowed on the site so campers expected to be self sufficient and provide their own shower/washing up facilities - which is fine for us.
Location is great - handy for two of Northumberland’s secluded beaches and for walking the coastal paths. The car park at Newton Links does get busy and is pay and display.
Good pub in the village - but book a table in advance if you want to eat inside as it was busy (lots of fellow campers in there too).
No wifi - to be expected in a pop up site - but decent 4g phone coverage.
There were children on site, quietly entertaining themselves but there are no children’s facilities - except for the vast expanse of sand and dunes a few minutes walk away!
We will be back here again.
Disliked The two portaloos were stinking by Sunday morning - there must be so many motor homers who have the ‘no poo’ rule!

Primitive grass RV campsite
Liked Enormous open field with extensive views. Perfectly positioned for walking the coast line and 2 minutes walk to the nearest pub. It was surprisingly quiet and peaceful, though absolutely no protection from the wind, of course. Minimal facilities provide two portaloos at the top of the field and water taps. Good value for money.

Brilliant find in a beautiful part of the world.

Liked Really peaceful, easy walk to pub and beach. The space was amazing not many vans on site. The guy who owned it was really friendly.
