Liked You can have campfires
It’s a lovely quiet campsite
There’s a drinking water tap, toilets and waste disposal. All were very clean and well maintained.
Only 20 minute drive to supermarkets.
Owner was very friendly and made sure to check we were ok when we arrived and before we left.
There are a few communal toys which me 2 year old loved running off to and playing with.
Disliked Nothing really. The pigs were extra noisy when we were there but I don’t think that is the normal experience, it sounded like we were at Jurassic park at some points which the kids actually enjoyed. We didn’t even notice them after a bit.

Primitive grass RV campsite
Liked Great location, nice little walk to the shop in the village. Site was quiet and clean too and the pitches were spacious. Toilets were kept very clean.
Disliked Would have been nice to have a sink near the toilets to wash your hands. Whilst antibacterial get was provided I always prefer to wash too. Just a personal preference.

Lovely, tranquil setting with plenty of room.
Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked We initially booked on the campsite at Castle Howard, but when we arrived it was very overcrowded with little room to pitch.
We had a quick look on Pitch up and found Cotril Farm.
What a lovely, tranquil setting with plenty of space for everyone. Lovely views over the fields and we had a lovely run in the Howardian Hills the day after.
Basic facilities but that didnt matter to us.
