Stunning Whitby & Abbey views! Spacious sites ensure peace. Guests loved the friendly hosts, well-stocked honesty shop, and relaxed, nature-focused vibe. Great value & access to walks/attractions. Composting toilets a noted preference. Highly recommended!

Liked Fantastic view across Whitby Abbey, pitches spaced out across the field. Easy access to the ‘The Cinder Track’ for walking to Whitby/Robin Hoods Bay.

Liked If you’re after lots of facilities, this site probably isn’t for you – but if you want peace, space, and incredible views, it’s an absolute hidden gem.
The location is so tranquil, with wide open views right across to Whitby and the Abbey. There’s a little honesty shop on site, plus a sink for washing up and a composting toilet (though we didn’t use these as we had our own in the van).
Another nice touch – the local chippy even delivers to the site!
We’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful break with stunning scenery.

Liked We didn’t like anything about this amazing site , we absolutely loved everything that Ed and Verity have at their lovely site.
The amazing views of Whitby from our camping pitch was like a dream and we could have stayed forever.
Ed and Verity are lovely people that nothing is to much trouble , they have a great honesty caravan , washing up facilities and you can even charge your phone or electric pumps etc ! Their homemade honey is exquisite.
If we could give them a rating of more than ten stars , 12/10 we would.
Excellent rates, amazing scenery and all you need to have for a wonderful holiday at a fantastic camping site which we will most definitely be visiting again and again.
Thank you so much for a wonderful week at your adorable campsite !

Liked Loved this campsite. Back to basics. Just what we needed. The grass is left long with paths mowed to pitches around the field. There is one compost loo in the field which is great, didn't smell. Sawdust kept being topped up. The sink for washing up is across a lane but still close enough.
Owners seemed lovely. Even gave us a hand when my van broke down. Thank you! Would definitely stay again, if your looking for luxury though it's not the place for you.
