Liked Nice, quiet area. The Cafe provided excellent food, the price was very good too. Local town, Thirsk, not far. Fishing lakes are well maintained, the warden provided guidance on the best catching methods for the lake I was on.

Liked Easy to get to. Check in was great with pitches easy to find.
Facilities were okay and was all I needed for my stay. Used the toilets, shower and pot washing area. Facilities were clean and the water was warm…all good.
Pitches are a good size with gravel and grass, really level too so was able to just drive on and hook in.

Liked Lovely site clean and peaceful toilets and showers clean pitches long but not too wide close if your a caravan next to a tent but our neighbours were lovely so no problem for us .10 minutes to Thirsk we done the races great day.
Use cafe on Sunday for breakfast lovely and very reasonable.
Lovely walks around the lakes.
We will be there again 😁
