  • Quiet campsite in Irton village, 15 minutes’ drive from Scarborough
  • North Yorkshire Water Park 10 minutes’ drive; Filey 20 minutes
  • Adults-only site with basic facilities; pub five minutes’ drive
A lovely, quiet camping site situated in the rural village of Irton, just outside Scarborough, North Yorkshire. This is an established site under new ownership which is open most of the year and offers 20 grass pitches with electric hook ups. Toilet block with shower cubical, two drinking water points on the site. Well behaved dogs are welcome but must be kept on the lead as the site is based on Equestrian yard. Predominantly an adult only site but exceptions are made for historical families who have been visiting over the years.

Highly recommended, quiet, adult-only site at an equestrian center. Guests love the friendly owners, clean facilities, and peaceful vibe with horses. Great for exploring. Basic but functional amenities offer good value. Can get muddy in wet weather.

Camping pod

Liked Lovely small site in a great location- good walks and pub a 20 min stroll. Cayton Bay and Filey a short drive.
Pod was comfortable and had everything we needed - toaster/ kettle/ microwave and a heater. There was a barbecue outside and chairs and a table on the patio. It looked out onto countryside and felt private. There were lovely horses in the fields and yard. We will definitely return.

Power optional grass campsite

Liked We liked the location, the peacefulness and the facilities.
It was lovely and quiet, easy to access whilst feeling remote, but also close to everything you’d need (nearby shops, beaches and even a nearby resident selling local eggs!)

Our dog even found it perfect, watching the horses in the neighbouring field.

Facilities were fantastic. Easy and close electric hookups, plenty of water sources, clean toilets and showers. Washing up facility was a nice surprise.

Adult only was blissful, other visitors were respectful and quiet and we had a lovely time.

We’d return in a heartbeat.

Disliked Nothing.
