What customers say
This campsite boasts spectacular ocean views & a peaceful, spacious setting, with easy access to Cayton Bay beach. Great location for exploring, with good value for solo travelers. However, limited portaloos & no showers were common concerns. Some noted windiness & no on-site drinkable water. Many want to return.

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked We have just arrived back after spending a couple of nights here. We loved it. The views are amazing the site is well laid out nice large pitches. Basic amenities but you know this when booking. They were clean and well kept. Site was lovely and quiet so kids were able to run free and play games. Nice and quiet. We did pack up and leave the night before due to high winds but that was our choice. The site manager did drive round and let us customers know that winds were expected to reach 30mh which I thought was a lovely gesture to do. Overall a fantastic basic site perfect for exploring the local area and coming back to a stunning view.

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked -amazing view
-clean toilets
- peace and quiet
-short walk to the beach
Disliked One small suggestion we’d like to make is about planning the check-in process for groups. We booked two pitches as a group, and fortunately arrived early enough to set up next to each other. However, if we had arrived later, this might not have been possible. It would be great if the campsite could ensure that pitches booked together are located next to each other whenever possible.
Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay and would gladly return. Highly recommended!

Primitive grass RV campsite
Liked The view, the quietness, the layout, the facilities, the ease of check-in
Disliked A bit pricey for a motorhome with no electricity hookup. Maybe a couple of industrial bins by the gate would be good for rubbish

Great location and views overlooking Cayton Bay. Great space.
Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Overlooking Cayton Bay (dog friendly year round), gorgeous sunrise. Big space, plenty of room between tents, holiday makers respected others keeping noise to a minimum. Dog friendly. Lovely in the sun, nippy in the wind. Short drive to other beaches, supermarket, chip shop, etc.
Disliked Nothing to do with the site, just other people as per usual. Children being left to use toilets unaccompanied and left them dirty., a party with dogs allowed them to roam off lead…
