Arkle Moor Riding Centre one of only two trekking centers in the entire YDNP with access to 100s of miles of bridleways and footpaths making us the ideal place for your adventures to be based from, whether that's on horse back, cycling or walking. We are located a 40 minute walk from the picturesque village of Reeth, which has 3 pubs, a well stocked shop, post office, ice cream parlor, tea rooms, and lots more. The market towns of Richmond and Leyburn are a scenic 30 minute drive away. We are a 30 minute walk from the fabulous Charles Bathurst Inn serving amazing food or why not visit Britain's highest Pub -the world famous Tan Hill Inn, a short 19 minute drive to the most Northern part of Arkengarthdale. E-Bikes and mountain bikes can be hired from the Dales Bike Centre only a stones through away from the Swale Trail. If history is what you'd like to experience, we are in the heart of long since gone industrial lead mining industry, remains of which scatter the surrounding landscape. Castle Bolton is a short 20 minute drive giving you the opportunity to take in some breath taking views of Arkengarthdale, Swaledale and Wensleydale. If James Herriot country is your scene, we are located right at the heart of where filming took place of the original All Creatures Great and Small television series. Ideally located for many local sporting events and summer shows for example Ard Rock Festival, Swaledale Festival, Swaledale Marathon, Reeth Show and many more Ready for that outdoor adventure? What’s on offer: ~2 Bell tents with canopies and floor mats, both sleep 2 people on single beds. ~Fully equipped cooking facilities including pots & pans, cutlery, mugs, glasses and other essential items ~Proper beds with mattresses! ~Blankets ~Barbecues and Charcoal provided ~Shower and toilet facilities ~Washing up area ~Wood Burning Stove ~Fridges ~Electric Heaters We are situated in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. With access to miles of bridleways, Footpaths literally a few hundred yards from the Bell tents. Just perfect for getting off the beaten track whether cycling, walking or on horse back, enjoying the glorious scenery the Yorkshire Dales has to offer.

  • Dogs are not allowed if you are staying in the accommodation units.
  • Twin axle vehicles are not permitted on site.

  • No cars/motorcycles at the site. All cars must be parked in the designated area.
  • Continental touring caravans (caravans built with the passenger door on the right-hand side) are not permitted.
  • Guests are advised to bring a good quality flashlight with them as parts of the park are unlit.
  • Trailers, RV and Class B motorhomes with the passenger door built on the left-hand side are not permitted.
  • Fires, barbecues and/or firepits will not be permitted in dry, windy and/or hot weather conditions.
  • The charging of electric vehicles is not permitted on site.
