Quiet, laid back, close to nature.
Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Absolutely everything! The site is just idyllic. The toilets are great, the shower is a welcome treat, the little snug with board games is adorable and the hammocks were just amazing. We had such a lovely experience and can honestly say this is the best campsite we have ever stayed on. The hosts made us feel so welcome and let us know about some astronomical events that were taking place during our stay, this led us to stay up late and we saw several shooting stars and bats in the night sky. A local walk was also recommended to us which we did, it takes you from the site, down some country lanes, passed a beautiful canal (we saw lots of wildlife here, including a deer!) and takes you to a friendly country pub in Melbourne. I cannot praise this site enough. Thank you for an amazing break!!! Cannot wait until we can return for another visit.

We stayed at this lovely campsite…
Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked We stayed at this lovely campsite for two nights and had a fantastic experience. The location is great, peaceful, scenic, and perfect for unwinding. The whole site had a relaxed, welcoming vibe, and the owners were an absolute joy to chat with, friendly, kind, and incredibly thoughtful. They even lent my son a toy tractor to play on, which absolutely made his day! Evenings were wonderfully quiet, ideal for sitting back and soaking in the calm, while the days were slow-paced and relaxing. A perfect little escape! Already planning to return!!
