  • A five-minute drive from the seaside town of Bridlington
  • Café serving all-day breakfast and Sunday roasts
Park Rose Village is a small, family-oriented and friendly holiday park just three miles from the seaside town of Bridlington. It's in the same village as Bridlington Animal Park, an award-winning centre with birds of prey and an animal park. At this park, there are activities throughout the season including flying displays, falconry classes, small animal holding and donkey rides; you'll probably reckon the pig racing is a right hoot too… (Please note that the centre is owned and managed independently from the site and that there are admission charges.) The Park Rose café on site serves breakfast from 10am, and also has homemade cakes and scones, lunches and dinners, and succulent Sunday roasts. A shower block is also available.

Camping pod (no pets)

Liked: Pod was immaculate and well kitted out. All staff (reception, cafe, grounds man and the lovely lady keeping the pods/Yurts spick and span were very friendly and helpful.

Disliked: Cafe costs were a little pricey, though the breakfasts were very good

Old Pottery powered cement/asphalt and grass travel trailer campsite

Liked: Local shop and cafe on site.
Nice staff.

Disliked: This is more suited as a static site with only a few touring pitches. Most o those are taken by long term touring vans. Toilets are very dated and in need of attention.
We had a noise problem with another caravan untill 4.30 am on the first night. We moved the next day only to move again the second night because of a lake of available pitches. A refund was offered but this still hasn't arrived to the time of me publishing this report.

From the manager: we tried to accommodate you the best way possibly. We asked the people from the other caravan to behave. We are sending you the refund as promised via Pitch up as per today ( 20/02/25)

Old Pottery powered cement/asphalt and grass travel trailer campsite

Liked: Did not like anything about it horrible place . Avoid

Disliked: Where do I start booked 2 pitches next to eachother as traveling with disabled person. only 1 available more like a gypsies site not looked after at all did not stay demanded a refund would not recommend anyone booking there

Recommend to friends Visit again

From the manager: Our Park is quite small and we offered 2 pitches 50 yards a part of each other. Unfortunately wasn't good enough. We have refunded them .

Look elsewhere if staying in Bridlington

Old Pottery powered cement/asphalt and grass travel trailer campsite

Liked: Absolutely the worst camp site I have ever visited, we didn't even pitch up, after looking at the state of it, we didn't feel safe staying there or leaving our vehicle there. I have requested a refund via email, but haven't received any reply.

Disliked: Everything !!!!!!!!!

Recommend to friends Visit again

From the manager: We have sent a refund. The site is very safe with normal, friendly people staying. Shame you did not feel safe there. May be it was a bit later /dark when you arrived!

Old Pottery powered cement/asphalt and grass travel trailer campsite

Liked: Nothing liked about this camp site

Disliked: It seemed like more people were living in their caravans as permanent residents and not other holiday makers.

Recommend to friends Visit again

From the manager: We are sorry had a bad experience. You are right saying the most of people are residents. They like so much that they turn they little holiday into a seasonal pitch.
We were indeed surprised by you comment of customer service as our staff at The Cafe and grounds are very welcome and friendly.

Camping pod (no pets)

Liked: Very clean pods, which looked as clean as when we stayed the year before.
Our toilet block/showers were also spotless, which is a major pus on any campsite.
Excellent on site cafe, providing tasty snacks, including a good selection of breakfast food.
Only a 10 minute taxi ride into the town.
Great base for what we wanted, which was the musical festival at the Spa.

Recommend to friends Visit again

From the manager: Thank you. Pleased you enjoyed everything at our place. Hope the musical festival was as good !

Local attractions

Go coastwards to Bridlington and its Bempton Cliffs RSPB reserve with over 200,000 chattering seabirds or have a more serene time sampling the town’s famous shellfish; get gothic in Whitby or amuse yourself at the funfair in Filey, where there’s another bird garden and animal park if the one at Park Rose has given the kids the beasties bug. For beachcombers, the main beach at Bridlington also has a land train, the Bridlington Eye and waxworks at the Beside The Seaside Experience Museum; the quieter Fraisthorpe Beach, to the south of Bridlington, is dog-friendly all year round. Head inland from here for the North York Moors, one of the biggest stretches of heather moorland in the country: explore by bike, on foot or from the North York Moors Railway which puffs through 18 miles of spectacular scenery. For kid-friendly fare, Bridlington and the surrounding areas are well-placed for family days out, with beaches, play centres and farms among more; take a trip to Dalby Forest for the day for some orienteering or swinging among the trees at Go Ape. Theme parks in the area include the knuckle-clenching rides and extensive zoo at Malton’s Flamingo Land, swashbuckling and raptor attacks at Ripon’s Lightwater Valley, and more birds of prey at Thirsk’s Sion Hill Hall.
