What customers say

This tranquil farm site boasts lovely scenery, welcoming hosts, and amenities like a kitchen with a kettle and fridge. Guests loved the quiet vibe, great views, and spacious pitches. Nearby walks and wildlife spotting were a hit, with some enjoying rowboat access. A single toilet and occasional facility queues were noted.

Power optional grass campsite

Liked Peaceful and tranquil setting with lots of wildlife. Big pitches, lovely views whichever pitch you’re on. Small site, just 5 pitches in main field. Firepit with each pitch, wood available in barn for small donation. On the edge of a rewilding project so as well as the horses and sheep on the farm also saw Exmoor ponies and White Park cattle.

Disliked Nothing about the site but if you want good internet signal, it wasn’t the best. Could get 2 bars in some places but it was hit and miss.

Power optional grass campsite

Liked We had a Pitch with Electric hook up. The pitch was a great size with picnic bench and fire pit, (that we didn't use). It is set in a beautiful location, overlooking the local church with fishing pond at the side. Great walks for the dog, facilities are great, can't knock anything great value for money.

Power optional grass campsite

Liked We really liked that it was a working farm. We got to see sheep being herded through the campsite, which was great. It was a small and quiet site. Only one toilet and shower but we were lucky not to have to wait for it. Really liked that we were put next to a picnic table. The location to Sandringham was great (we were there for Heritage Live). I think we would definitely return as it was very good value for money!

Power optional grass campsite

Liked Absolutely beautiful place with friendly people! The price was amazing and Rachel also let me charge my E-bike batter in the camper's kitchen. A perfect stop off along Peddars Way! Slept sound surrounded by the wonderful sounds of the country (deer barking, multiple owl species, waterfowl, chickens), and watched a fantastic display of swifts at 5am. HEAVEN.

Disliked Maybe just one shower and toilet isn’t sufficient?

Local attractions

What kind of scenery would you rather have for your wanders? Perhaps a country house, gardens and park for your walks or cycles at Sandringham Estate (15 minutes’ drive)? The Palladian-style Holkham Hall (45 minutes) and its parklands? King’s Lynn (20 minutes) for Hanseatic town with heritage sites, the quayside and the Hanse Trail down a route taken in medieval times? Or Swaffham (15 minutes) to see all the little makings of a market town? There’s walking, cycling and wildlife spotting (if you’ve got the patience for that one) in Thetford Forest Park (half an hour). Binoculars might also come in handy for the Snettisham (25 minutes) nature reserve and beach too, where there might be pink-footed geese, knot and shelduck for the spotting. In case your visit has you craving more of the seaside, Holkham beach (50 minutes) could be your next scenic stop-off, or perhaps Hunstanton (35 minutes), where there’s a classic Victorian seaside resort with the works, including windsurfing, paddleboarding and kitesurfing.
