Liked: This is a really quiet site with generous, flat pitches. The facilities are more than adequate, spacious and regularly cleaned. The on-site lake is stuffed with many species of fish, including some lovely specimen carp that will test the angler!
The owner is really friendly and helpful and has a relaxed, flexible approach to managing the site.
There are several National Trust locations within 20-25 minutes drive, should you wish to explore and a miniature railway just a few minutes walk away that runs on weekends, but with access only by pre-booking through their website.
Being close to the flatlands of the Fens, there are large skies and often amazing sunsets. The night skies are really dark, with little light pollution, which is great if you like night photography.
Disliked: Nothing at all

Liked: Immaculate toilets and showers, big flat pitches , friendly owners
Disliked: All things really out of owners control. I was hoping for a longer dog walk but it’s fairly short unless you want to walk down a road.
I was fine with the country noises but there appears to be a railway nearby and every few minutes there was steam train letting of its whistle from around 830 for most of the day. You need to be self sufficient or be happy to drive off pitch to get to a pub or shop. Didn’t worry us as we stayed.
