Liked: Greeted by very friendly owner who showed you around the facilities which were immaculately clean The pitches were generous Large hedges surrounding part of the area gave it a cosy feel and some protection from ensuing wind. The site was quiet and relaxing My dog loved the nearby walk where she could have a good run
Disliked: Nothing

Liked: The site was the nicest we have stayed on. It was extremely clean and well kept and all flat pitches.
The toilets and showers were first class. Spotlessly clean and looked after.
Sue and Bob who owned the site were the perfect hosts nothing was too much trouble and the nicest of people.
We will definitely be coming back at some stage.

Liked: Lovely peaceful well maintained site. Toilet/bathroom/washup facilities nice and clean, plenty of hot water with a nice powerful shower (not button press). Site owners very friendly and helpful with local area/ takeaways if required. Perfect dog walk just outside of the back gate. Very secure site - key fobs issued upon arrival.

Liked: We visited for one night en route from the north west of England (Lytham St Annes) down to Norfolk and for two nights on our way "back up north" with our touring caravan.
The grass pitches kept in an immaculate condition. It felt more like pitching on a garden lawn than on a camping/caravan site.
Shower block with two shower/toilet/washing facility rooms that were kept clean. There was a plentiful supply of hot water to the sink and shower.
Lovely individual touches with various items of memorabilia and garden areas made for an even more interesting and relaxing stay.
The site was secure with entry and exit via locked gates controlled by fob.
Sue and Bob were excellent hosts. Nothing was too much trouble for them. They would happily engage in a chat or just leave you alone, whichever you preferred.
I would definitely recommend this site at Tydd Gote, near the Lincolnshire/ Cambridgeshire/ Norfolk borders.

Liked: We had a lovely weekend getaway here. The tent pitch was relatively private and had everything we needed for hookup and water availability. The setting is peaceful and beautifully scenic. The shower/toilet/kitchen block was really convenient, clean and more than adequate for the campsite. Our host for the weekend was Alan, and he was really friendly, helpful and welcoming. We’ve just upgraded to a caravan and will definitely look to return here.
I believe the site is adults only so I have awarded 5 star for child friendliness as I hit the review and Pitchup wouldn’t let me clear and I don’t want to leave anything less than 5 stars for this stunning site.

Liked: Brilliant! Warm and friendly welcome from Sue, who showed us around and gave us tea while we chatted! Lovely, small relaxed campsite, at the end of a lane...very quiet and peaceful. It feels very safe here. Beautifully kept with tidy, if quirky gardens. Showers immaculately clean. Care and attention from the owner is obvious. Felt like nothing was too much trouble. We didn't want to leave! Thank you Sue and Bob!
