Primitive grass tent, campervan or trailer tent campsite
Liked Relaxed atmosphere. Onsite farm shop had a selection of very nice food. Self serve milkshakes helped me consume 10,000 calories a day in milk :). Friendly nearby horses. Nice stroll around the ponds. 15 min walk to a very nice pub. Friendly owner. Good phone signal.
Disliked Toilets were clean, but only two for the whole site. I never had a problem as I could see them from where I pitched so chose my moment. Some noise early morning from the milking barn, but it is a working farm so can’t complain.
Lovely stay and wouldn't hesitate to book again if we are in the area.
Primitive grass tent, campervan or trailer tent campsite
Liked Great location for roaches walks and reservoir. Loads of room in the campsite, drinking water available, cold water for washing available.
Any staff we spoke with were brilliant and very helpful.
The farmshop is great, has all necessities you may need last minute.
Disliked £2.50 for 1 shower felt pretty excessive, only being 1 shower isn't great, neither is the toilet situation (3 usable toilets for a large campsite and a decent size fishery).
Our third time visiting. Will be back again!
