Liked: The quirky peaceful location.
Nice spacious showers with shelf and hooks so your clothes stay dry.
There was a communal fridge and kettle campers and bothy users could use.
Disliked: Railway line runs parallel to site, however trains weren't that frequent so didn't bother us too much.

Liked: A lovely location near to the river Teme. Lots of walks, including the Offas Dyke way (which crosses the site).
Very friendly site owners. The field drains very well after rain (which we had rather too much of).
Disliked: Probably could do with more lavatories in peak season.

Liked: The site is located in a rural location (on the Offa’s Dyke Walk) but within a short walking distance from Knighton. Perfect balance!
I saw kingfishers and red tailed kites with owls hooting away while I was stargazing!
The site has loads of space with three fields to pick from. Pitch wherever you like. The atmosphere is definitely relaxed, in a good way.
The facilities are clean with plenty of toilets, showers and hot water (all free).
There is even a little cafe/van on site selling drinks and hot snacks.
The river Teme is next to the site and provides a lovely backdrop to the area.
There is a railway track right beside the site but it only had small trains that didn’t run often or late and wasn’t obtrusive.
Disliked: None
