What customers say
This peaceful riverside campground boasts stunning countryside views and direct access to Offa's Dyke. Guests rave about the clean, well-kept facilities like showers, restrooms, and common areas with fridges and kettles. It's a short, pleasant walk to Knighton, offering a relaxed vibe and various pitch options. A nearby railway line exists, but infrequent trains aren't a bother for most. Friendly owners and a convenient on-site cafe enhance the stay.

Excellent place to stay with family and friends
Primitive grass tent, travel trailer or trailer tent campsite
Liked The site is located in gorgeous scenery with good nearby walking routes. Great facilities and laid back, friendly owners.
Disliked On-site cafe is v handy and well-stocked, but service needs improving as it’s not very well organised.

From the manager: Just want to add that the cafe a is separately run business to the Campsite. Thank you for your review though. 😊
Yes, all in all , very happy, will def stay again.
Barn bunkhouse (shared, no cars)
Liked What's not to like ? Helpful welcome. Lovely situ by a river , comfy barn that was near the facilities.
Kettle was used lots, saved on fuel.
Value for money
Disliked Although I had no issue, the barn was very close to the facilities. Imagine on very busy days/nights it could be noisy esp if one went to bed early.

Will happily camp here again
Primitive grass tent, travel trailer or trailer tent campsite
Liked A lovely setting occasionally enlivened by the Heart of Wales line running through it. A peaceful walk into town (crossing the England/Wales border) aloneside the river. Good on-site coffee and snacks from 9-5 ( very good sausage!). Facilities in good order
Disliked Whilst facilities in good order of the site is busy one can expect a queue - it’s all in the timing…

Pretty, well-run site with plenty of space and lovely views.
Primitive grass tent, travel trailer or trailer tent campsite
Liked It's a beautiful site, based around an old farmhouse between hills and a river, with a railway running along one edge. We heard owls and saw a kingfisher twice. We loved the relaxed feel of the site, the large area available to pitch in, the level pitches, the views, the friendly owners, having a fridge, the quality of the facilities - lovely big shower cubicles. (Although it got pretty busy over the weekend, there always somehow seemed to be enough loos and showers!)
Be aware that the price of having a lovely pitch with views and access to the river is a long walk to the facilities!

Lovely site!
Primitive grass RV campsite
Liked Lovely campsite with beautiful surroundings. The riverside walk into Knighton was great and the town is really nice. At the campsite they have a notice board detailing local amenities and walks in the area. We did one of the walks which we enjoyed. We didn’t have anything from the food van but prices were reasonable
Disliked Only a little niggle but could do with more toilets and showers. I waited in line for 15 minutes for a shower one morning.
