Liked: The campsite is a well kept, mostly flat, back to basics field on a bit of a plateau, with drop toilets, a water tap and, down the slope towards the entrance, some wash basins and showers. The open field has wonderful views in almost all directions and on a clear night you get a vivid 'starscape'. It's definitely got the 'being in the true outdoors' about it. A brilliant location for walkers to set out from!

Liked: Loved this quiet, secluded campsite. Compost loos are a winner for me. We just had one night but the sky was so clear and we saw a massive shooting star. Great place and would definitely stay again.
Disliked: No signage on the lane so I was a bit nervous but don't worry, it is up there!

Liked: Large space so you're not too near other people if you don't want to be. Clean and well-stocked compost toilets. Added bonus of some goats, ducks, and chickens to watch!

Liked: The camping site was very easy to find close to the village and far from the noise of the road, beautiful panorama and very friendly hosts. Toilet was always clean and not far from the pitches.

Primitive grass campervan campsite
Liked: Nothing
Disliked: The road to the campsite was very rough which meant I didn't feel confident to go off site every day as I didn't want to damage my car. The site felt very busy and only had to horrible toilets. The showers were like sheds. People on the site just did what ever they wanted. Loud music, lots off alcohol. No considerate for others.

Primitive grass campervan campsite
Liked: Nothing
Disliked: I can only think that our poor experience was due to it being bank holiday weekend.
- the noise at this campsite was terrible, music booming, people shouting, cars moving around, someone even arrived at 10pm slamming doors
- there was literally no space and privacy at this site because everyone was cramped in and no pitches are marked. We ended up in nettles. I feel it is a bit greedy not to have a limit on numbers on such a bank holiday weekend
- pricey for what you get - basically a hot shower - and that’s one shower for about 200 people. No rubbish or washing up facilities. 3 composting toilets.

Liked: Basic campsite with stunning views of the Shropshire hills. Very handy for walks along the Long Mynd. Peaceful and relaxed. Water tap and composting toilets on the hill.
Disliked: Be aware that the direct route to the showers/wash-up area is steep.
