Dougal, one of our pet sheep

  • A peaceful and tranquil getaway in the Lincolnshire countryside
Our stunning shepherd’s hut, sits quietly in our paddock to the old Rookery farm. You approach via the private gates to the farm where you have a private parking space for one vehicle on our second drive. It overlooks our pond and the rolling Lincolnshire Wolds with local livestock. The hut takes its name from the rare breed Lincolnshire Longwool sheep. We have our 2 pet sheep, Dougal and Noodle in the adjacent paddock, who are sure to welcome you. Located in the quiet village of Hemingby, the hut is just a short 2 min stroll to the village pub which serves excellent food and drink. New for 2023, it is ideal for a couple looking for a unique experience overlooking peaceful countryside, with a double bed, underfloor heating, comfortable seating, en-suite shower room with heated towel rail and a log burner for cosy nights in. Outside is a sheltered canopy area with a firepit and BBQ which overlooks the pond and surrounding fields with lovely views and spectacular sunsets to enjoy. The area enjoys many miles of lovely walks and cycle routes with tea rooms and pubs on your travels for refreshment during the day.
