What customers say

Great spot near beach & Tenby. Friendly staff, clean (but dated) facilities. Sloping pitches need blocks. Road noise is an issue for some. Good base for exploring, many would return.

Liked Location!
Lovely coastal/beach walk into Tenby’s town, taking approx 45 mins.
Lovely clean site - We had a lovely pitch with a sea view.
Beautiful walks up to and along the cliff top giving a 360* view - absolutely stunning.
Two local pubs - serving food and very welcoming, within 10 minute walk.
Would highly recommend 👌.
Golf course next to site.
Kevin was very helpful when our Moho battery needed a jump start 🥴.
Will definitely be returning - possible with grandchildren 👍.

Disliked Shower blocks are original buildings - and although ‘quirky’ personally would
Prefer an updated version 🫣 .

When approaching drive past Kiln Park, as sat nav took us through a very narrow -1 lane - back road. 🥴

Liked Location bus and train into Tenby, 15 min walk to the beach. New showers good, old showers don’t bother.

Disliked I found the traffic noise unbearable as we were right next to the roadside but that’s just my opinion.

Liked Good sized pitches. Short walk to beach via golf course. Busses every hour into Tenby, from bus stop right by campsite, 5 minute walk to train station. A couple if pubs close by.

Disliked Toilets and showers are disgusting! One block has faeces on toilet walls, and showers are either freezing cold or boiling hot! Very basic and full of cobwebs and spiders. The newer blocks, which consist of 2 dual toilet & shower rooms, are sweaty and stink of urine. Never any soap to wash hands with, and a bucket of brown water, with what can only be a disease ridden mop, supposedly to clean the floor with! Could do with a good clean and overhaul! All the pitches are on a slope, although not always avoidable with campsites. Loud traffic noise from busy main road just the other side of the hedge from the pitch, again, not always avoidable when camping. Chemical disposal point is basic, nowhere to wash hands afterwards.

Liked Location was spot on and easy access too. A walk to bea h and into Tenby, just a mere 20 minute's. Welcoming reception and a good pitch. Note bring levelers. But very happy and will definitely be returning.

Disliked Sad thing a nice site, nice location unfortunately toilet and showers really do need attention not the clean and showing age especially the white block. Also a shortage of toilet roll so bring some just in case. If this was sorted this would be a super site. But that said we have a Motorhome which is fully equipped so it doesn't really bother us.

Local attractions

Tenby is a port of call for people wanting more than a paddle on the sea: boat trips will take you round the cliffs or out to spot the seals (pick a sunset cruise for marriage proposals, or just to be romantic) and to visit Caldey Island, a rocky nugget of peace, nature and history offshore where monks have been living since the sixth century (not the same ones, of course). To hit the beach, popular Saundersfoot and Pendine are 15 and 30 minutes' drive away, while surfers head for the big waves at Broad Haven and Newgale (40 and 50 minutes). The Pembrokeshire Coastal Path is 186 miles long, but don’t feel you have to do it in a day; marked trails along the cliffs give you cracking views and plenty of opps for nature spotting everywhere you go. (A popular short stretch is the eight-miler from Tenby to the castle at Manorbier – and the pub.) Also in the area, Heatherton World of Activities (10 minutes) gets you zipping through the trees, climbing ropes and driving go-karts; Oakwood Theme Park (half an hour) has rides to thrill and spill your drinks over, and at Folly Farm (20 minutes), you can combine a traditional fairground jolly with meeting farm animals and exotic beasts.
