Liked Brilliant location, showers were warm and whilst the composting toilets took a little getting used to, they were far nicer than portaloos!
Disliked Noise from the Wedding till half 2 in the morning.

From the manager: Hi, Im so sorry you didnt like the composting toilets. We advertise as an eco site WITH composting toilets, its better for the environment you are enjoying. We keep the toilets really clean, and have many reviews on how good they are. We work so hard to give people a great experience, its really unfair to leave a bad rating based on the compost toilets, especially as you booked a site WITH compost toilets. If you were unsure what a compost toilet is and why people should and do use them, then a quick google would have helped or I answer any questions too. I would advise so you aren't disappointed in the future, and arent to fair to small business's doing their best that maybe you do that in future.

Simple campsite done well.
Unpowered grass caravan site
Liked Laid back/self-serve atmosphere. Everyone was respectful and there was loads of space.
Scenery was stunning and the site itself was well kept. Toilets were very high standard and well kept composting. Staff were nice.
Local area including beach was beautiful.
Disliked Really reluctant to say it but....Showers. I get the concept but it was uncomfortable. I would actually prefer outdoor showers with dividers than being in enclosed mouldy container. Got a splinter from rotten wooden floor. But this was £20 per pitch per night which is excellent.

Unpowered grass tent or trailer tent site
Liked Everything. The campsite was a huge spacious field, beautiful views, clean fresh compost toilets, hot clean showers. Walk through fields and a quiet road to church bay, about 25 mins. A lovely vibe and peaceful.

Site with amazing views to sea.
Unpowered grass tent or trailer tent site
Liked Beautiful site. Amazing views. Lots of space. Facilities clean. Walk to beach/ coastal path very handy. Just wish we didn’t have to leave after one night (should have stayed three nights) due to unforeseen circumstances.
Very windy at points. Clearly picked the wrong spot ourselves as a gust of wind that completely changed direction (had pitched so wind was hitting back of tent) hit the side of the tent and snapped all our poles. Guy lines stayed in but poles just buckled.

From the manager: Thank you so much, and the the tips for people too to avoid the wind xxx
