The Loft

Liked I liked everything about this site. Reception was closed when I arrived but as stated in welcome pack there was a box outside with details of my pitch. Pitch was a very good size, I was staying in a roof tent but pitch would have fitted both car and ground tent. located next to a dishwashing area and a shot walk from bathroom/shower room. Bathroom and shower room was very clean and well kept. Lots walls and cycle paths leading from the site. My 8 year old boy loved exploring the fairy train with the handmade tree swings, slides etc. would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

Liked The loft has all the facilities you would need either staying in a tent camper or lodge ie shower blocks very clean toilets very clean .
I stayed in a lodge we had everything we needed shower cooker fridge freezer microwave and hot tub just outside amazing

Disliked When we turned up a little late we ended going in the wrong entrance and was met with a very angry owner asking if we could read instructions not what you want when you go for a relaxing weekend ,
The lodge we stayed in had everything we needed but could do with an update leather was all scratched off the sofa the floor very scratched and bedding could do with an up date ie pillows and duvets

Liked Toilets

Disliked All pitches very close together and all under trees for campers . Very shaded
Only caravans had nice grass pitches .
Not quite as photographs !!
Left early after first night … paid extra to stay nearby by for a couple of nights -
First camp not to feel excited about , disappointed .

It looks like the photo shown on Pitchup for your pitch type at the time was one uploaded by a guest and not of the woodland non-electric area you were allocated. That has now been corrected so future guests see an accurate picture.

Most campers enjoy the woodland pitches for their space, privacy and shelter, but we appreciate it’s not everyone’s preference. If you had mentioned it during your stay, we would have done our best to move you to another area that you preferred. We wish you all the best with your future camping adventures.

Liked Family friendly especially if you have animal obsessed children like me. Spacious pitches with separate spaces for fire pits. Kids loved feeding the goats and looking out for the cows coming out to graze.

Disliked The only thing I can think of is that for a site with lots of pitches they would benefit from one or two more showers. Beyond that I couldn't fault our week here.
