  • Family park half a mile from Coldingham Sands beach and watersports
  • Within 5 minutes' drive of St Abbs and Eyemouth; an hour to Edinburgh
  • Kids' club, indoor golf, outdoor play, chippy, spa and bar and grill
Find your way to Scoutscroft Leisure Park for adventures at the seaside or the city: this well-placed park is an easy half a mile from spectacular and award-winning Coldingham Bay beach and just over an hour’s drive from the sights and shops of Edinburgh. There’s loads to do on site too (this is a firmly family-friendly park), including indoor miniature golf, a kids’ club, a snooker room and an outdoor play area. Food and drink is sorted for all tastes too at the fish and chip takeaway for quick bites (perhaps on the beach…?) and the Sands bar and grill for breakfasts, lunches, evening eats, snacks and a wide selection of bevvies ranging from soft drinks to cider. Drink up, then drink in the scenery: Scoutscroft is close to the Berwickshire coast and the Scottish Borders, handily placed for weekends away or longer hols exploring sandy beaches and nature reserves. To take the excitement up a notch, watersports including surfing, kayaking, diving and bodyboarding are easily sorted from the park; elsewhere, days out at local port town St Abbs and harbour town Eyemouth are within less than 10 minutes’ drive. These places are also where you can pick up provisions at supermarkets… or simply meander between the two on a coastal hike.

Camping pod (superior)

Liked: Pod was good and perfect for our needs. The site itself was fine and ideally located.

Disliked: The toilet and shower blocks were very unsatisfactory. The ladies shower cubicles were not cleaned at all during our four day stay and the men's toilets had issues with the flush and taps on the basins we're broken. Both shower blocks hot water was insufficient - didn't last for more than a couple of minutes. We did mention these issues at check out to a staff member.

Camping pod (superior)

Liked: Absolutely loved this place I come alot staff friendly . Huts are always spotless. Beautiful place . St abbs just around the corner and the stunning beach at the other side

Disliked: Theres never anything I dislike but there is little touches that wouldn't cost much that would make it better .
If there was a little hook to attach the dog to . And a mirror in the hut would be handy but no buggy

Camping pod (superior)

Liked: The whole experience of staying in the pods at Scotscroft Holiday Park was excellent. The staff were very friendly, the whole park was pristinely clean and the pod was just a joy to stay in for a weekend. Thank you too for the warm welcome at reception and in the pod on arrival. I have booked again for May this year, so we'll see you then.

Disliked: Nothing to dislike

Camping pod (superior)

Liked: That the heating was on in the pod prior to arrival - nice and cosy!

Disliked: The walk to the toilets (in the pitch black), the dogs mess left & the horrendous shower facilities- no hot water and next to no water pressure made showering impossible! Restaurant was good & fairly priced however it did take them 3 attempts to get our food on the table.
Staff weren’t overly enthusiastic and seemed to be more interested in smoke breaks. Felt like a bit of an inconvenience. On check out no one bothered to ask how the stay/facilities were so I’ve put them here for reading. Such a shame!

Staff were extremely welcoming at the bar and reception, and the facilities were clean as was our little pod 🙂

Camping pod (superior)

Liked: The location and the cosy pod !

Disliked: Unfortunately - there was a long way to the loo - not good in the middle of the night ! Also Wifi wasn't functioning - staff tried to help as they knew about the problem and a neighbouring campsite bar let me use their Wifi - but only open in the evening so I had to go home a day early to get my work done.
