Electric gravel touring pitch
Fully serviced

  • Spacious pitches on the Dorset coast, overlooking Chesil Beach
  • A 10-minute drive to central Weymouth; 15 mins to Isle of Portland
  • On-site bar for drinks and food; play area and playing field
You’ll be able to squeeze the maximum amount of sea air out of your Dorset coastal break when you stay at East Fleet Farm Touring Park – this spectacular location is on the shores of the Fleet Lagoon, with views over Chesil Beach to the open sea beyond. Having sea views from the site means that you may be tempted to hang around on your pitch, put your feet up and simply take in the scenery for much of your break. And that’s not a bad idea at all – pitches are generously sized, with access to a play area and playing field for kids that may need a bit more activity. The well-stocked shop has various camping/caravan accessories and consumables, and it’s also the place to pick up a newspaper and an ice cream to take back to your camping chair. For more substantial eats, head to the on-site bar, which has an extensive food menu as well as a range of local drinks. It really is worth making the effort to get out and about locally though: there are some stunning walks on the South West Coast Path (which passes next to the site) and plenty of places to go for a bike ride. Weymouth and Dorchester are easily accessed too, as are the watersports of Portland and attractions such as Abbotsbury Swannery.

What customers say

Brilliant campsite, spotless loos (showers are ace!). Friendly staff, handy shop, great coastal walks. Spacious pitches, though some a bit sloped. Occasional Wi-Fi woes & playground noise noted.

Liked - Location was nice.
- Bar/ restaurant/ Barn entertainments/ were good if a little expensive in the shop.
- Play park good

Disliked - Drinking water access too close to the Chemical waste disposal (Stable Field)
- Wi-Fi was weak, tower right next to pitch (418)

Liked The showers are nice and clean
Lovely countryside feel

Disliked Pot luck with the pitches. 1st night we were there we got put next to a clubland tent who granted turned the music off at 11 but it’s a family campsite - music, swearing and smoking wee’d till 11! So asked the group if they could turn things down a bit - nope. So I thought I would ask the staff. Phoned the staff for help to be told they are allowed till 11pm. Now there is very little that can be helped about who you end up next to, but not even a pop by from staff to see if at lest the clouds of wee’d could stop. Basically if you have a problem off you pop the staff arnt interested.

Liked Throughly enjoyed our first stay here! We were impressed with the pitch sizes and all the facilities. We particularly enjoyed the live music in the barn and the pizzas!

Disliked We called ahead a couple of weeks ago to be asked to be put on pitches next to our friends who were there, were told this was fine and added to our booking. However wasn’t the case when we arrived, we were the complete opposite side of the site. The team were very accommodating and moved us as close as they could but it did alter our experience as we wanted to be camped as a group.

Liked Nice views of the lagoon
Good shop

Disliked Unfortunately being next to a lagoon…or maybe it was the types of trees that enclosed some of the pitches, there was an insane amount of flies and wasps. I have never seen so many in my life!

We wanted to book 2 pitches together but they couldn’t guarantee this in advance which was frustrating when there were still multiple pitches free

Liked Nothing

Disliked Absolutely disgusting. Not worth the price at all. Toilets were incredibly dirty and there were no cleaners for the duration of our stay. Too much noise at night and couldn’t sleep. A lot of dogs barking as well. I recommend you to stay far away from this place if you want to have a good time

Local attractions

Can’t keep your eyes off the sea views? Pick up the South West Coast Path at the bottom end of the park, or head for favourite spots along the Jurassic Coast like West Bay (half an hour’s drive) and Lulworth Cove (35 minutes). The Isle of Portland (15 minutes) is also a great place for a walk, and it’s also got lots of watersports including windsurfing, coasteering and scuba diving. Weymouth (10 minutes) is another perennial favourite for its lovely sandy beach and attractions like the Sea Life Centre and Pirate Adventure Golf. You can also get to the town on two wheels by picking up the Weymouth Trail cycle route from the bridleway by the site (or follow the full nine-mile trail up into the hills…) Other options for days out nearby include Abbotsbury Swannery and Subtropical Gardens (15 minutes), Vurlands Animal Farm (20 minutes) or an arty afternoon at Sculpture By The Lakes (half an hour).
