Tucked into a larger campsite on the outskirts of Boscastle in North Cornwall, Little Penlee is a cosy wooden pod sitting in a private spot with spectacular views to the Atlantic Ocean. The pod contains a double bed, a small kitchen including a sink, hot plate, coffee machine, fridge and kettle and an ensuite with shower. Outside, there is a large decking area with a table and chairs ready and waiting to catch any spectacular sunsets over the sea. Little Penlee is about five minutes’ drive from stunning hiking and wildlife-watching along the scenic South West Coast Path, and there are plenty of other walks surrounding this corner of Cornwall, including a stroll along the beach at Crackington Haven. Ten minutes’ drive takes you to pubs, restaurants and shops in Boscastle, and if you’re travelling by public transport, a bus stops just outside the campsite entrance. There’s a farm shop selling fresh local produce (20 minutes’ walk), where you can also devour vast cooked breakfasts if you need an injection of energy in the morning.
