Liked: Lovely campsite. Quiet with spacious pitches, excellent clean toilet/shower block and within walking distance of a few good pubs. Staff were very welcoming & more than happy to help/check in throughout our stay
Disliked: Numerous dogs off leads, despite multiple signs requiring them to be on leads at all times due to horses in neighbouring fields - one even appeared in our awning despite no one camping near us!
Could definitely do with another toilet/shower block in the bottom of the camping field - peak season the one block will be very busy!
Needing 50ps for the showers isn’t too welcoming - I get limiting how long people spend in there, but when most of society nowadays is cashless, having any cash on me, let alone 50ps is very unlikely, so went without a shower on our 2 day trip

Liked: Bathrooms were OK. Do remember a 50 p coin though...
Disliked: Depressing stay. No "warm welcome" as some have mentioned - we got an email with directions to our pitch. No number on the pitch though... the sign with the number was just dumped carelessly on the ground beside it.
Terribly noisy. Not only from the constant air traffic, but also from the tractors and garden machines driving back and forth right behind our van. A lot of "landscaping" was going on....
The most depressing was all the commercial vans, the rusting vans, the dumped vans - not at all a campsite you would enjoy.
As a travel writer I visit sites all over Britain - and this was not a place I would recommend.

Liked: The facilities were super modern and clean - we were so impressed in both male and female blocks.
Team were super friendly and went out of their way to find us an ideal pitch after some torrential rain to avoid the van getting stuck in the mud - they were very friendly + the food on site is fantastic - highly recommend supporting the van when serving hot food + coffee.
This was a FAB site, just what we needed for a weekend base around our plans - thank you!
Disliked: The thunderstorms, but that couldn’t be stopped by the campsite!

Liked: The location, friendliness of staff, Travelling Teapot, amenities and everything else!
We stayed for 2 nights on a non-electric pitch. It was our first time camping in a tent and aside from getting caught in a biblical downpour we had the best time!
The Travelling Teapot is fantastic, think we pretty much sampled everything on the menu and it was all fantastic!
The staff are really helpful and extremely friendly :-)
Disliked: Having to pack up and leave...
