What customers say
Leat Farm: serene, simple camping. Spacious spots, lovely nature, stream, wildlife. Owners are a big plus! Facilities are basic but okay, though lighting & shower numbers can be tight when busy. Great for relaxed family hols.

A quiet, spacious campsite with very basic facilities
Unpowered grass tent site
Liked The owner, who was lovely came round daily to collect rubbish and sell firewood. There is little light pollution so star gazing is possibly.
There is plenty of open space to play games, and the campsite didn't feel cramped even when it got busy.
Not far from the heart of the New Forest, and some lovely beaches
Disliked The toilets, shower and washing up sink are very basic.
There was an event or party nearby that played loud music every night for 3 nights, until 4 or 5 in the morning. I would assume not a regular event, but should what should be a quiet, peaceful campsite

Unpowered grass tent site
Liked Informal (pitches aren't marked, for a example).
Flat ground.
Flushing toilets.
Allowed fires (raised off the ground) - lovely owner comes round and sells wood at v.reasonable price.
Middle of field left empty for play, with equipment left out to use.
Mainly families.
Disliked Not dislikes just good to know - unlit toilets so need torch at night.
There isn't a running hot water tap to do washing up, just cold water.
Pretty basic but had everything we wanted from a campsite.

Unpowered grass tent site
Liked We have had the best most relaxing time at Leat Farm
Our first camping experience
Beautiful way to get back to nature, kids off tech, kayaking in the stream (boats provided) tennis, cricket, all in the field.
Bob the cob horse is beautiful with other animals to see too.
Donna was just amazing so friendly, accommodating and super helpful.
Every afternoon we were offered a bin bag, fire pit, more wood for thr fire.
Children were given tennis bat, cricket bats, balls to use during their stay.
Everything was just super relaxing and chilled, as you want it to be.
Only one shower but with 70 plus people there was never a queue for this or the toilets.

Unpowered grass caravan site
Liked Being able to have a fire pit. The owner came around selling logs each night.
The pitch was cheap (£50 for two nights). The owner was lovely and friendly.
Disliked Fairly basis amenities - only one shower and three toilets which weren’t overly clean but the pitch was cheap and we could have a fire. You get what you pay for.
