What customers say
Peaceful spot, comfy digs with great kitchens and showers. Hot tub a winner! Some parking niggles, not enough towels/mats, and some signage was intense. Decking privacy could be better, and the hot tub might affect jewellery.

Perfect for a slow weekend for familys or couples
2 bedroom lodge (hot tub, no pets, woodland, superior)
Liked Lovely location tucked away from the road and surrounded by trees and woodland. It’s a short drive to Knockhatch Park, which is fantastic for kids.
The lodge itself exceeded our expectations — it was bigger than we thought, nicely laid out, and very clean. The bedding smelt nice & slean. It had both a bath and a shower, which was great for our little water babies. The hot tub was a big hit with them too!
We stayed in Lodge 24, situated at the top end of the resort. It was peaceful and private — a short walk from the car, but we weren’t overlooked by anyone.
We baked croissants for breakfast, enjoyed a lovely woodland walk, had lunch at The Gun, and made pizzas for dinner. It was the perfect slow weekend.
Would highly recommend for families or couples looking for a calm and relaxing getaway.
Disliked Nothing, was perfect.
The children would say lack of wifi but we didn't want ipads etc so it didn't bother us

Great site, very relaxing but remember to bring extra towels.
2 bedroom lodge (pet friendly, hot tub, woodland, superior)
Liked The quality of accommodation was excellent. The finishing touches are that little it more with great quality baths and showers.
The gated entry creates a safe feel and the site was very quiet and relaxing. Some may not enjoy the walk from the car park but we preferred having little traffic moving about.
Disliked Considering this is accommodation that includes a hot tub supplying just one towel per guest is quite tight and certainly expected more.
Whilst instructions are important the Lodge is full of signage threatening fines for most actions (including not taking your rubbish to bins at end of stay) which was a bit overboard.
The decking areas had varying levels of privacy screens and something in place to cover the hot tub in wet weather would be a big enhancement.
The hot tub was the worst I had been in for discolouring jewellery so probably best to remove beforehand.

Liked We liked the area. Quiet every evening, private space. Everything close, stores, sea, restaurants. Very comfortable cabins.
Disliked Not really much to say about dislikes, just weather wasn't too nice in January, very windy and rainy.
