A peaceful, welcoming spot for dogs, next to a pub with great grub. Easy to reach, good value, though some pitches need levelling & grass can be long. No loos on-site, but pub toilets are there. Road noise occasionally heard, but not a biggie for most.

Disliked Seemed expensive at £15 for no facilities or discount when using the pub for food and the field was not very level. Some road noise which didn't bother us.

Liked Very convenient stop close to M6. As I was the only van booked in, the staff said I could stay in the carpark rather than on the small field they use for pitching for the night. So I didn't have the levelling problems that other reviews suggest. Being close to the pub was great, and the food was excellent, even better that they provide it as a take out, so as it was my first night I could eat in the van! Very dog friendly too.

Liked The pitch’s looked ok, and the dinning room in the pub was also good, with a great menu, including gluten free options. We decided not to stay, as they had some non paying caravans illegally occupying some pitches.

Liked Very peaceful and quiet at nighttime. Pub was very nice and staff were very friendly and professional. Only 5 pitches which was great. Water tap. The use of the pubs toilets when it was open.
Disliked Not a dislike. The pitches aren’t level by any stretch but that just added to the fun. For £15 it was secure and in a great location.

Liked Arrive after 10am and leave anytime. No rules. Only a couple of people there. Stayed with tentbox on a van, myself and my wife. Lovely pub and staff, food lovely

Disliked Only downside is there are no toilets or showers although you can use the pub toilets while it’s open. Plus the grass was a bit long would have been nice a bit shorter but no big deal really. Road noise quite loud at times.

Liked Great location for us. Bus stop into the nearest town was only a ten min walk. We are at the pub the food is scrumptious. Staff are lovely and friendly.
Disliked Having to walk past the beer garden with people eating with a chemical toilet. That was the only thing that bothered us tho.
