Liked: Lovely quiet place, the amenities are great, I always appreciate a fridge/freezer for my freezer blocks. Liz was very friendly and helpful. It was so peaceful just sitting next to our campfire watching the sun go down and the stars come out. Would definitely stay here again 🤩

Liked: Perfect setting. The children loved the milkshakes and the chickens. Really well set up campsite with large pitches. Good facilities. So much fridge and freezer space. If we were staying longer we would definitely have made the most of the hire options of fire pit etc.
The pitches are set up to the side of the field which left the middle free with so much space for games which my nephews made the most of. Would definitely recommend.
Disliked: Often a queue for toilets when people were using the showers I think one more for the size of the campsite might help but this was so minor compared to how much we enjoyed everything else.
Sadly some guests also didn’t follow quiet hours and were playing loud music till the early hours. Again nothing at fault with the campsite or liz who couldn’t have been more helpful.

Liked: The fresh eggs you could buy, you can hire a fire pit that comes with a starter pack of logs, kindling and fire lighters.
There was a milkshake machine and it had a washing up room which was very handy.
The toilets and showers were also very clean

Liked: Lovely small site. Toilets and showers are clean and well kept. Washing up area is under cover. New addition of fridge freezers in a little hut is handy. The pitches are huge so the site never feels crowded and you have plenty of space and don’t feel on top of other campers. Pitches are pretty level and grass kept short. Plenty of space in the centre for games etc. the site also offer windbreaks and fire pits to hire.

Liked: The perfect distance from Whitby, lovely family friendly campsite, shower blocks and toilets are clean. It’s a very nostalgic and stripped back camp site that offers, coffee, tea, fresh milk & milkshakes and fresh eggs, fire pit to hire with logs and kindling & offers a marshmallow toasting kit. Overall i absolutely loved the campsite, it had everything needed for a perfect stay. I would recommend to anyone and will definitely be going back.
Disliked: There is no electric pitch, but it isn’t necessary as you have everything you need on site.

Liked: Excellent site - third time returning with 2 young children and we had the best time the milk machine was an added bonus (good to keep the kids happy). You can buy fresh eggs, coffee/tea from a machine on site and fresh milk and also flavoured milk. There is an added bonus of fridge and freezers which is shared by everyone. Chickens roaming free which again the kids loved. Liz is always happy and nothing is a problem she works very hard but will always welcome you with a smile no matter the time of day. Roll on next year were we will be returning with friends we made on site

Liked: We loved our time at Woodhill 😊 beautiful location, great facilities, lovely atmosphere, perfect layout with all the pitches being around the edge of the field and the middle being left for the kids and parents to play, our son loved hanging out with the roaming chickens and meeting new friends, liz was such a welcoming and friendly host, highly recommend 👍
Disliked: Toilet and shower facilities were kept clean and well kept, only request would be for better water pressure and heat of the showers
