Liked: Jake! Friendly, hardworking, asked for our feedback and although the electric kept tripping it was put back on as quickly as he could then tried to find the reason.
Location is great right next to the river you can watch the boats and look out for the heron. Shops close by and restaurants. Lovely walk into Worcester
Disliked: It does have areas that could be improved and considering it’s newly reopened should / could have been avoided. E.g. access to fresh water, emptying waste & toilets and the lack of changing space in the showers.
We are still going to return as we feel the location out ways these points and feel the price is right.

Liked: Close to shops, restaurants and a lovely riverside walk into Worcester.
Disliked: Not enough toilet facilities only 2 male & 2 female, shower hand were too low, plus they were a really good walk away (which wasn't good as rained a lot). Also electric kept tripping off not but not just the person overloading it, it took out the whole touring section.

From the manager: Thank you for taking time to write a review, The amount of toilets and showers are what is needed for the amount of pitches as our site license says.
The toilet block has to be where it is as the touring part of the site floods during closed season.
Our staff where on hand at all times and did assist with power cut as soon as they were aware, Opening day teething problem im afraid!
A lovely site, the young lad on reception lovely helpful and friendly

Liked: The position of the site right on the riverbank was fantastic, lots of amenities like shops and restaurants just outside site, lovely 20-25 minute walk along side river and canal into Worcester
Disliked: Toilet block a bit far from pitches, could do with another flight of steps in middle of pitches as only one set right at the end

Liked: Clean facilities
Disliked: Too far to the toilets, water and chemical disposal. The site has obviously been changed for the static caravans with no thought for tourers.

From the manager: Thank you for taking time to review the site.
The touring part of the site floods through closed season each year as it is way lower than the static pitches, The site has been fully refurbished and although your point is taken shower block was where it is now before as that is where planning permission is for it. Also it could not be put where it would flood each year.
I am sorry you won't return but I wanted to explain

Liked: Nice entrance gates and location
Disliked: This caravan park has undergone up grade and we stayed there on the first weekend of opening Easter weekend , first impressions on arriving the entrance looked amazing new gates nice upgrade , and the road down to reception much better all new tarmac and trees cut back , and checked in at reception but be careful don’t use the handrail it’s not safe. Jake was very welcoming , then going to pitches it all went downhill the grass was long and then once walking on the pitches it was full of pot holes and ruts obviously from the diggers working doing the new electric points , but obviously it was to much trouble to level the pitches up , there is no water any where near the pitches and there is a very steep set of steps which u could never get aqua-roll up or down and they haven’t even got a handrail on these steps , speaking to the wardens on site they was full of excuses , so if you want to stay on this site be prepared for half a mile round trip to get your water or empty your toilet , the electric tripped 5 times on the Saturday morning in one hour and it takes the whole site out, it took 3 hours to cook breakfast. All in all they got a long way to go to improve this site

From the manager: Hi Paul
Thank you for your review.
I must say I am annoyed by it.
You had stayed before the re development and as you are well aware the loo block is in the same building and the water is where it was before.
As the touring field floods each year you cannot have the facilities or the water on that level as it would obviously flood and the water would be contaminated

Liked: Jake was friendly, asked for our feedback as only just reopened so very clean and fresh.
Location is great right next to the river you can watch the world go by. Shops and restaurants close by.
Lovely long walk into Worcester.
Disliked: There are areas that could be improved and considering it’s newly reopened could have been avoided. Access to fresh water and emptying waste a long walk up the hill, the toilet block a bit far from pitches, only 2 male & 2 female toilets and the shower cubicals are too small, nowhere to keep your clothes dry even a curtain would be an improvement. Could also do with another flight of steps in middle of pitches as only one set right at the end with no hand rails. The gates on entry to the site give an air of security anthough there is a public footpath running alongside the river bank through the touring section.

Liked: We liked the location. We liked the gate security.
Disliked: We didn’t like the toilet/Shower block . The only hooks for your clothes /towel was inside the shower. No where to get undressed /dressed.
We didn’t like the fact bins weren’t emptied from the showers / toilet block daily .
It seems very much a work in progress.
