What customers say
Highly recommended family-friendly campsite with a chilled vibe in a lovely rural spot. Kids love the friendly rescue animals. Great play area, fishing, and walks. Staff are super friendly, with a cafe, bar & shop. Some mention showers need a refresh & pitches can be sandy.

A basic camping site with so much on offer!
Unpowered grass site
Liked We loved the work that this site are doing to support animal welfare. Staff were polite and welcoming upon arrival, clear pitching areas with surrounding animal enclosures to wonder and enjoy. Play park was suitable for the little ones and entertainment was available on site!
Happy to have visited and supported the sites efforts.
Disliked Sadly, the way other campers have treated the site and hedge areas around the wild camping. Not difficult to remove waste as per site directions.

Stayed w/end with 5yo, didn’t get bored, lots to do, defo come again!
Unpowered grass site
Liked Friendly atmosphere, freedom to explore, the pizza from the van was amazing, interacting with the animals, owners were very welcoming, the bar and shop were basic but for a site of this size an unexpected bonus! Toilets were basic but clean. Lots of space for kids to ride bikes and play, 5yo loved the play area (one trampoline out of action but roped off when we stayed). Staff happy to chat about the animals.

Liked The owners were lovely, even gave me a handful of teabags cos I'd forgot mine 🤣 my 6 month old loved the geese and the pigs and my other half made full use of the ponds for a bit of fishing! Lovely site, we will definitely be returning! The fire pits you can hire were great too.
