What customers say
A grand little spot, real handy for seeing the sights. Spacious pitches, grand facilities, and the staff are dead helpful. Fire pits are a lovely touch. Some whinges about showers and a bit of racket from the army, but generally a peaceful, well-kept place that’s good value for your tin.

Liked A peaceful campsite in a beautiful part of Dorset surrounded by woodland with access to many footpaths. Grant, the owner is friendly and helpful. I will definitely be returning.

Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Nice green site, good clean toilet facilities. 20 minutes from the ferry port. I would come again
Disliked The sinks are too high so that when you turn off the taps, the water on your hands runs down your arms onto your sleeves. At this time of the year it takes ages for your sleeves to then dry out.
I don’t imagine children could reach The taps.

Fantastic
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Excellent facilities, lovely setting and plenty of space on the weekend we were there. Unfortunately, it got very windy and not being too far from home, we decided to not risk blowing away on our second night!
Disliked Not sure about the men's showers but personally I felt a bit uncomfortable with only shower curtains in the women's facilities.
It wasn't a deal breaker by any stretch and all the facilities were great and very clean.

Disliked Bathrooms could do with more frequent cleaning

Electric grass pitch
Liked Spacious pitch, lots of electric hookups and water availability. Clean and well stocked bathrooms. Quiet site, and dark skies great for stargazing!

Great pitches and site, with good facilities and friendly staff
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Great location, lovely pitches and facilities were clean and sufficient for needs. Arrival reception was friendly and helpful (as late season, very kindly said I could "take my pick" of where to pitch). No light pollution, so night skies weren't spoilt and site ideally placed for access to walking/cycling routes
Disliked Nothing to dislike about the site
