You're free to set up pretty much wherever you like on this uncrowded campground. Facilities include well-maintained restrooms and shower access, as well as barbecues and picnic tables that are provided for out of doors grilling. On top of that, there are opportunities to get involved in meditation, yoga or jogging – just ask staff for details. Other possibilities here include hiking, caving, paragliding and desert golf.
This campground is just a few miles from the Mexican border and surrounded by deserts and mountains. It will take you about half an hour to get to Van Horn, the closest town, where you can stock up on food, treat yourself to a dinner out or learn about the local area's past at Culberson County Historical Museum.
