Camping Simplonblick

Liked We liked the open spaces there to park, so we managed to park handy to the 2 shower and toilet blocks.
And the facilities were like new, extremely tidy and clean.
There is a shop for meals justout the gate and a petrol station if needed.
The best place we had for our trip around Europe to that point. We wanted to stay longer.

Disliked Camping très bruyant entre route, train, hélicoptère sans parler des campeurs qui n ont visiblement pas intégré toutes mes règles du camping en circulant avec leur véhicule a 4h, 5h, 6h du matin quand l interdiction s étend de 22h a 7h
Emplacement denué d arbres et donc d ombre et pas de séparation entre les emplacements

Disliked Pas une seule ombre, par 36 degrés nous nous sommes arrêtés pour faire le plein d’eau et repartis instantanément
La verdure que l’on voit sur ces photos n’existe absolument pas.
À à peine 100m de la nationale 🤮
Personne a l’accueil à notre arrivée à 15h.
Au bilan non remboursable nous avons donc payé un emplacement dont nous ne. Oui sommes pas servi

Le camping a été rénové il y a 3 ans. Depuis, nous avons planté de nouveaux arbres. Ils ont besoin de temps pour pousser.
Sur les photos (si vous regardez toutes les photos), vous pouvez voir que la route est proche et qu'il n'y a pas d'arbres.
Avant votre arrivée, vous avez reçu un e-mail vous expliquant comment se déroulait l'enregistrement et Pitchup indique également que la réception n'est pas ouverte.
Nous sommes désolés.

Liked Toilets, Showers

Disliked Absolute chaos! We booked and paid for a motorhome pitch with electricity, but it means nothing here. There’s no reception, no staff, no guidance — anyone can drive in and take whatever space they want. We arrived to find tents pitched on motorhome spaces and the whole place overcrowded. We ended up parking on a football field because there was nowhere else! Stressful, disorganised, and a total waste of money. Never coming back and strongly recommend you avoid this campsite entirely.

We are just a campsite with 3 stars, which doesn't provide the same luxury as a 4 or 5 star campsite..
