  • Well-maintained site 200 metres from the Loup river for wild swimming
  • A five-minute drive to La Colle-sur-Loup; 15 to coastal Cagnes-sur-Mer
  • Playgrounds, pétanque, multi-sports area and games room on site
Mountains, Mediterranean and many French Riviera attractions… In the Alpes-Maritimes village location of La Colle-sur-Loup, Camping Les Pinèdes is in a nifty setting for all of the above. It's also very handy for those who want to tick off a trip to Antibes, Nice and Cannes (all within 40 minutes' drive) or who want to go out investigating local fishing, perfume marking, glass blowing and Gorges du Loup canyoning. The site is only 15 minutes' drive away from the coast and near to the foothills of the Alps. The Loup river flows an easy 200 metres from the site, for swimming, fishing and riverside strolls, and the town of La Colle-sur-Loup, a starting point for several hiking trails, is within five minutes' drive of the site too. There's a good selection of stuff to do around this lovely-looking site too, first of which should be the handsome heated pool (open from April to September), surrounded by green mountains and edged with colourful flowers, with a paddling pool to take care of safe swimming for the kids and a sunbed area. Out of the water, play pétanque and table tennis or use the multi-sports area, lounge around for a bit at the TV room, or send the kids off to the playgrounds and games room. On top of all this, a kids' club and entertainment for all ages are arranged in the summer months – and you'll all probably want to meet the friendly site donkeys too… As a well-equipped site, Les Pinèdes has meals sorted too. From April to September, have meals at the restaurant or use the takeaway service. A mini market is also open, but only during high season. There are also motorhome services on site such as a waste disposal point.

What customers say

This campsite boasts a beautiful natural setting with well-maintained, clean facilities, including a popular pool. Pitches vary; some are sloping or have tricky access. Staff are friendly and helpful. Convenient for towns, though driving is recommended due to limited sidewalks and busy roads. Some guests noted dated areas needing updates.

Powered grass and sand campsite (comfort)

Liked Nice site! Pool and spa area was lovely! Kids encouraged to participate in pool games which kept them entertained. Shaded pitch! The loup is a short walk for wild swimming and an area for kids to jump into the stream below! Nice pizzeria a short drive away. Communal showers and toilets are mixed sex and clean enough.

Disliked Pitches are described as sand but very dusty. There is a massive infestion of bugs around, I got covered in bites. Lady on reception not very friendly to us.

Powered grass and sand campsite (comfort)

Liked Great place to stop to explore the south coast and the site had a great pool area for those days we chose to relax. The local village La colle-sur-loup was approx 15 mins walk, although part of the walk is at the side of a busy road. In the village there are some great local restaurants where you can sit outdoors in the quaint streets. You can also walk down to the river where there’s a walking route and opportunities for a dip in the beautiful river. We throughly enjoyed our weeks stay at this site, which we found to be peaceful with a lovely friendly atmosphere. Finally the on site bakery done amazing pastries and bread for breakfast!
