What customers say
This campground offers breathtaking ocean views and direct access to coastal trails. Guests often compliment the welcoming staff and tidy facilities, including hot showers. While many appreciate the roomy sites and relaxed vibe, some note it can be breezy with potentially sloped spots. A favoured option for its locale and services.

The campsite and staff are excellent and we had a great time!
Lower Abereiddi Field primitive grass campsite
Liked All the facilities were great and the location was perfect
Disliked Our only gripe was that there were other campers who were being SO loud until around 4am (it was the bank holiday weekend) no enforcement given to be respectful of others.

Lower Abereiddi Field primitive grass campsite
Liked I really enjoyed my stay. It was the bank holiday so it was busy, there’s aways one group that can be annoying. However I let staff know of the situation and it was handled immediately. Absolute legend with 2 german shepherds helped me out! The problem was solved, very grateful as the rest of my stay was great. View was amazing also!

A campsite that wants your money, with the things to rent and buy
Lower Abereiddi Field powered grass campsite
Liked Amazing views. The nearby coastal path leading the the blue lagoon.
Disliked The toilet and shower block were unclean and not enough for the size of the campsite. The pitch we had was really unsuitable for a campervan and we had to purchase blocks to level the van and even then we were on a slant. Rubbish and dog poo were left around the vacant pitches. We informed the office about the mess, nothing was done.

Wouldn’t chose to stay here again, local sites appear to offer better
Pen Berry Field powered grass campsite
Liked Pitch size.
Disliked Site being used as a gas chamber due to a large fire being lit to burn off rubbish next to the barn, resulting in overnight burning and the tents then being filled with smoke in the early hours.
Size of the site is far bigger than reviews lead you to believe,
Small / inadequate facilities, male 2 toilets and 4 female toilets to accommodate hundreds of users.
Dirty facilities.

From the manager: We’re sorry to hear that your experience didn’t meet your expectations, and we appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts.
Our site is indeed very spacious—something we’re proud of—and we’ve made every effort to showcase its scale through photos and videos on our social media channels so guests can plan accordingly.
Regarding the fire incidents, this was the result of campers discarding disposable BBQs in general waste skips, which was unfortunate. This resulted in 2 fires that eventually required the intervention of MWF&RS We have provided designated metal bins for BBQ disposal and clear signage, but we cannot always prevent misuse. We’re continually looking at ways to improve safety and awareness around this. Sadly, this incident resulted in smoke drifting into the camping area overnight. On the back of that incident, we are reviewing how we can better manage this in the future to avoid any disruption to campers should this happen again.
On the facilities front, we’d like to clarify that what you have reviewed are the additional temporary toilets which were placed in the field to support peak demand. We have two main toilet blocks, which are located in the main building on the farm, each one which includes:
• Male facilities: 4 urinals, 4 toilets, and 6 showers
• Female facilities: 6 toilets and 6 showers
Additionally, we have designated disabled toilets and showers along with baby changing facilities.
These are cleaned twice daily by our dedicated team, with an additional top-up clean in the evening. We take pride in our cleaning standards, which are regularly praised by many of our visitors. However, we also rely on all campers to help maintain these standards, as cleanliness can vary depending on individual use.
We’re grateful to the thousands of campers who enjoy our site each season, and while we know we can’t please everyone all the time, we’re committed to providing a safe, clean, and enjoyable experience for all.
Thank you again for your feedback—it helps us improve.
