Gem of a site with amazing hosts
Powered cement/asphalt and grass campsite
Liked A massive thank you to our hosts Amanda and Kevin ( plus Amanda's Dad) who made us feel like part of the family right from the moment we arrived. The site is immaculate and maintained to an incredibly high standard ( the grass even had stripes) . Super sized pitches offering electric and water with ample space to park your car without intruding on your pitch. The site has a full sized kitchen including appliances (free washing machine use). Plenty of hot water in both the kitchen and bathrooms. Bathrooms are the cleanest we've experienced for a long time. They also have a family sized wet room with optional shower for your pooch. It's not far from Newcastle Emlyn with plenty of amenities and the site itself is tucked away for the ultimate quite nights sleep. The location of the site is great for exploring surrounding areas such as Saundersfoot, Tenby, Burry Port which are all about a 50 min drive away. Thank you again to Amanda and family you have done an incredible job in the 16 months since relocating.

Powered cement/asphalt travel trailer campsite
Liked Really friendly hosts. Very well kept, neat, tidy and clean. If you like a quiet getaway on a relatively small site, in beautiful scenery then this is perfect. Fantastic kitchen facilities ( been a camper for 30+ years and never seen such a well equiped kitchen ) and lovely showers. Will definitely visit again.
Disliked Nothing for children to do, we travelled with three of them so a playground would have been the icing on the cake but they had an entire lawn to play on and we took plenty of games and toys.

From the manager: Thank you for your review.
So pleased that you found the facilities useful and to a high quality.
Thank you for your comment about a playground. We have looked into providing play equipment, but unfortunately the cost of installing and maintaining the equipment to the standard required by our insurers is very expensive, so as a small site we are not currently in a position to justify it, but we will keep it under review, as we would like to provide something if we could.

Liked Lovely place lovely host, static caravan was very clean and tidy, only thing missing was some complimentary tea coffee and sugar to use whilst we went to the shops, other than this I can’t fault this place, was lovely and peaceful, (until our kids turned up of course) haha
