Liked The site is beautiful and immaculate. It is very well run and the staff are very helpful. The swimming pool is clean and warm. The views are stunning. One of the best sites that I have been on, I will definitely be back.

Liked Fabulous location very clean well run site, swimming pool showers and toilets spotlessly clean, free of charge washing machines and dryer,

Disliked Swimming pool opening times in the summer months should be kept open a bit longer than 5 pm, wasps nests we had three next to our caravan had to report this twice three of the children were stung by wasps. I know it’s not the fault of the site, but they should look around for them before they get out of hand.

We’re grateful for your feedback regarding the swimming pool and the wasps. Just to clarify, our open-air pool is available daily from 10am, and we close it in the early evening to help maintain a peaceful environment for all guests—especially those staying nearby. We understand that longer hours would be ideal during the summer months, and we’ll certainly take that into consideration for future planning.

As for the wasps, this season has seen an unusually high number across the region, largely due to them feeding on aphids in the surrounding vegetation. While there weren’t any nests near your pitch, we completely understand how disruptive their presence can be—especially when children are involved—and we’re truly sorry to hear about the stings. We’re actively monitoring the situation and exploring ways to reduce their impact while staying mindful of the environment.

It means a lot that you’d recommend us and plan to return. We look forward to welcoming you back for another memorable stay—with hopefully fewer winged visitors next time! 🐝

Liked Perfect site, was right on the sea cliff top. Beautiful views. Saw dolphins in the sea from our balcony. Very clean and modern . Fully equipped with everything you can need.

Liked The landscaping of the site was beautiful, lots of flowers and little gardens to walk through.
Shower blocks were clean and tidy.
Free use of washing machine, dryers and fridge freezers.
Dog park was secure and even had a supply of tennis balls.
The pitch was perfect and came with it's own picnic bench (red kite pitch). It had bushes and plants seperating you slightly from the pitches which gave it some privacy.
Games room had 2 pool tables.
The pool was lovely and had toilets and changing facilities right next to it.
Direct access to a rocky beach.
Beautiful sunsets.
Nice park on site - good for the smaller children.

Disliked Games room slightly dated.
Shower blocks are also dated but are due for remodeling 2026/27 but still good.
Road to the campsite can be quite narrow due to the remote location, those new to towing might find it daunting but it's so worth it.
On our last night there was an incident with another caravaner which resulted in the police being called and someone being arrested. If this was our first night we possibly might have left early. The staff and police did handle the situation very well though.
The odd smell of cannabis from other caravaners.

Liked I honestly don’t know where to start we booked the site as it had things to do for the kids the swimming pool and the park and wow they didn’t disappoint. The view driving down when we arrived was out of this world. The swimming pool was brilliant couldn’t get the kids out when they went in. The park was safe and we was placed near it so kids could play with me watching them from our patch. I really can’t describe the view sun set is breath taking. The beach is a stony beach but still good to walk on. We even had a visit from the badger twice which I found funny I was lucky to see the badger.

Disliked Nothing to dislike honestly. PLEASE PLEASE KEEP TENTS FOR NEXT YEAR.

We’re especially glad the pool was a hit—open daily from 10am with no booking or extra charges—and that the beach walk added to the experience, even with its stony charm.

We really appreciate your enthusiasm for tent camping and your plea to keep it going next year. You’ll be pleased to know we’re working on it! Tents are getting noticeably larger these days, and some of our current pitches aren’t quite big enough to accommodate them comfortably. Because of this, we’re revising how we advertise our tent pitches to make sure guests know exactly what to expect and can choose the best fit for their setup.
