What customers say
Campers love the clean, modern facilities, friendly staff, and great location. Many enjoyed the peaceful vibe. Pitches are spacious with helpful trolleys. Some found the washrooms mixed-gender and parking a bit distant, but appreciated the trolleys. It's a good spot for exploring nearby pubs and shops.

Powered gravel travel trailer campsite (large, maximum 8 metres)
Liked ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5
Grandtully Station Campsite is an absolute gem. The location is beautiful—nestled right by the River Tay, with stunning walks and peaceful scenery all around. The site itself is well laid out, spotless, and clearly cared for. The facilities are excellent: clean showers, well-maintained toilets, and a handy washing-up area.
What really makes it stand out, though, is the warm welcome. The hosts are friendly, helpful, and genuinely go the extra mile to make sure you have a great stay. It has a relaxed, unpretentious atmosphere that makes you feel at home straight away.
Whether you’re here for kayaking, walking, cycling, or just enjoying the peace and quiet, this place is perfect. Can’t recommend it highly enough—already looking forward to coming back!

Great for water sports and stop overs wouldn't stop for a week.
Primitive gravel campervan campsite (no awning, small, maximum 6 metres)
Liked Close to facilities, facilities were clean and warm. Clean clear camp site. Very useful for the water sports in the local area. Camping area is secured with a locked gate, facilities are also locked for campers only.
Disliked Non electric pitches are just pull up to the side of the grass bank, no clear pitch area, all quite close together, it's a bit like a glorified carpark.

Picturesque site with friendly staff
Powered grass tent campsite (small)
Liked Facilities immaculate.
Allocated pitch saves confusion
Smallest site I’ve been on friendly staff
Enjoyed the site however unfortunately was next to 4 noisy women who didn’t adhere to time rules like everyone else including many children trying to sleep through foul language in every sentence til after midnight and then awoke everyone at 6 am with similar really loud laughing/speaking loudly - really loudly & swearing - noone else round about could be heard as usually you would speak in lower voice to respect other campers. In all my years camping I’ve never experienced this ….. it was that loud one voice in particular - you could hear them through ear plugs!! This was bad as they were on opposite side to our pitch and 2 tents down
I was surprised there were no wardens to monitor camp!! Spoiled the otherwise lovely campsite.
Disliked Wasn’t keen on mixed gender toilets & showers I prefer female / male split. However wouldn’t put me off going back
Not having car next to tent as usually work out boot and don’t unpack everything - small tent ended jampacked so not ideal but liked how had the” bogeys” to take gear to pitch

Primitive grass tent campsite (large)
Liked Plenty picnic benches, no cars driving around, toilet and showers were spotless, plenty facilities so sinks, toilets and showers were never too busy. Handy wee trolleys to transport stuff from car to your pitch.
