What customers say
Wookey Farm: a tranquil, eco-friendly escape with ample, private sites & nature immersion. Guests loved the scenery, nearby attractions, and farm animal encounters. While compost toilets & recycling are appreciated, some found them tricky. Most enjoyed the calm, though a few noted minor noise & bin issues the owners are fixing.

Power optional grass campsite
Liked The location. Able to leave the car and walked to places we wanted to visit. The animals, I never left the farm with out fussing the animals especiallythe goats. The compost loos, that made a change from the norm.
Disliked We booked a pitch for electric, however it was not what was expected so unable to use. Will know for next time.

Disliked Had to pay for electric on an electric pitch

From the manager: Hi,
Sorry if it wasn't clear on the website. You weren't charged for electric before hand. The pitch type is 'electric optional grass pitch' so people who don't want electric aren't being charged in advance, but people who do want it, pay on the meter.
Highly recommend.

Primitive grass tent campsite (small)
Liked Beautiful site, plot 15 was perfect. I go camping regular and always like to try new places. I have never returned to a campsite. BUT to Wookey farm I will definitely return.

Great site, as long as can have a glass pitch. Pub down the road.
Primitive grass tent campsite (small)
Liked Nice and quiet, very Clean and site was checked, and ship sharp.
Disliked Didn't like pitch I was allocated, due being very muddy and no glass, surrounded by trees, some people may like that sort of camping, it did rain next day, it would be fun packing up. I asked for another pitch with glass, and with no problem moved me to one with glass and a table, happy days.

From the manager: Hi - I'm so sorry you didn't realise where the toilets were. And my 'out of order' sign for that toilet kept blowing off.
I'll be glad when the house is built too :)
We did four small camping stays…
Primitive grass tent campsite (small)
Liked We did four small camping stays over the six weeks holidays and Wookey Farm was BY FAR our favourite. My son is still telling me about how he wanted to stay there forever!
We played in the river, visited the animals several times a day and had several campfires. It was a truly wonderful weekend, even despite the rain.
We will 100% visit again!

Meadow primitive grass campsite
Liked Very spacious with lovely views, short walk to a lovely pub with great food
Disliked Bins were overflowing
Recommend to friends Visit again
From the manager: Hi - thanks for your feedback. The gas may have run out - we had a problem with a tap that wouldn't turn off properly so ended up going through the gas really quickly. Its been replaced now. Sorry for the bins - We had some really busy weeks in August with the lovely weather but will try to keep a better check on them next season.
