Liked: This was an exceptional experience. We chose the site because it was a single and exclusive pitch. We found more than we hoped for. Nigel and Yvonne went out of their way to make our stay memorable. Nigel introduced us to ax-throwing and took our two children under his wing and gave them a taste of farm life. They collected eggs and fed the hens among other things. The site itself is very secluded, wooded, with a large pitch alongside a burbling stream. The toilet was very clean. There was a tap for fresh, clean water on site. We didn’t luck out on the weather but the the site and the family made up for this. Loads. Manor Farm shop is a 15 min walk through lovely meadows and sells produce from the farm. The apple juice and eggs were excellent.
Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: You really do have the whole woodland to yourself so great if you don’t want to be disturbed by other campers. Having a working toilet and fresh water tap is useful.
The large fire pit is fantastic for cooking and the focal point especially in the evenings. An under cover area next to the fire to keep things dry if it rains is very handy. There’s even a hammock to use if you want to chill out for a bit and just take in your surroundings. The owners are very friendly and helpful, there if you need them but happy to leave you alone.
Disliked: None.

Liked: Seclusion. Lovely woodland. Good toilet and fire pit. Peaceful and quiet. Owners helpful and friendly. Lots of logs for fire and sheltered area to sit if raining. Lots of space for our collie to run around. Shower bag also great to hang from tree. Really lovely camp.
Disliked: Nothing really aside from public footpaths not clear. Not a problem for us as our collie enjoyed the run around.

Liked: Lovely secluded woodland site set up perfectly for wild camping with a grassy clearing or wood chipped terrace to set up tents with the added benefit of fresh water and a flushing toilet. Friendly, welcoming and helpful hosts. Ideal for staying put and enjoying the sounds of nature or local walks on public footpaths in the surrounding countryside. For anyone who enjoys a camp fire and cooking over wood, the large fire pit area and covered shelter is perfect. Also, it is well situated to make day visits to the plentiful attractions in Somerset and Dorset, many listed on the hosts' guide leaflet that you are given on arrival. Overall, spot on for those looking for a wild camping style experience with some amenities.
Disliked: Nothing - hope to return in future for a longer stay.
