Very clean site, big pitches and just a lovely atmosphere
Powered grass campsite
Liked Everything from when we arrived and greeted by the very friendly staff, till the day we had to leave. We didn’t want to leave. The staff are very helpful and loved that they came to each pitch daily for firewood purchases. The walk in to Cheddar is very nice and lots of shops and pubs on the way. A nice big Sainsbury’s there too if you need shopping and the site shop doesn’t stock it. We went for three nights and people mentioned the electric. We ran a fridge and charged phones & the speaker and used £1.50 a day which is very good. Cant wait to go back!!
Disliked We had to come home!

Disliked First time I've used pay as you go on an electric pitch, must admit I'm not a fan, but it worked.

Excellent facilities really clean. Great for kids. Spacious pitches
Primitive grass campsite
Liked This was a great campsite! The toilet facilities were great and the showers were also clean with warm water. There were some bigger ones available which fit our family of 4 in which was super helpful with the children.
Our pitch was amazing with so much space between neighbours and the kids and the dog could run wild. We were in the furthest field away from facilities which was great for being quiet in an evening. Bit of a walk to toilets but we had our own camping toilet so wasn’t an issue for us.
Close walk to a sainsburys for supplies and an extra park in addition to the one on site.
We cooked on the fire drum supplied by the campsite every night.
Really close to cheddar gorge for a day out.
Would definitely recommend to anyone especially those looking for kid friendly camping!
Could park car next to pitch to which is super handy.
We haven’t been camping with the children before, but we’re really impressed with Petruth Paddocks, it gave us plenty of confidence to go camping again.
We went august time sat-Tuesday. But even at the weekend wasn’t to crowded. Quietened down Sunday-Tuesday.
