What customers say
This secluded woodland site is perfect for off-grid camping. Pitches offer privacy, but facilities are basic (water tap, chemical disposal). Guests loved the quiet and Dorset access. Downsides included hard-to-find location, overgrowth, rubbish, and septic tank odours.

Ideal if you essentially just want a legal parking space as a base
Primitive gravel RV campsite
Liked A quiet site with lots of heathland dog walks, but not within walking distance of anything else.
We were a couple of weeks before thw summer hols and were the only ones on the site so had our pick of the pitches.
The site is tiny, with just a few pitches under trees.
Disliked Might feel a bit cramped if the site was full and there were campervans trying to manoeuvring to spaces.
None of the designated spots were quite level, despite being hard-core.
V close to the road and the chemical looks disposal stinks.

Primitive gravel RV campsite
Liked Lovely little site in the woods! No facilities other than a tap and septic tank but absolutely lovely! After booking look out for a text about how to find it as it is really hidden away.

Glorified lay-by - okay for a stopover.
Primitive gravel RV campsite
Liked Nothing, only a glorified lay-by.
Disliked Small unkept site just off the main road, no facilities, no dog walk on or off site, no bins or waste emptying facilities and lots of road noise from the busy road. Would have felt uneasy if we were alone on site.
Paid £17, which still seemed too much in comparison to other similar places.
Don't be fooled by the photos on pitch up as it is now very overgrown.
