Liked: It was a very pleasant campsite, with lots of space and friendly guests.
Disliked: The pilot light kept blowing out in the shower, which made having warm water a challenge.

Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked: Swimming in the river, walking to Moreton, the walled garden & church- lunch at the Dovecote cafe.
Disliked: Basic facilities, uncut field, stony ground not holding tent pegs.
A couple of women who decided to pitch a metre from my tent despite having two big fields with plenty of space to choose from- I left 4 days early.
A very windy spot.

Frampton Arms pub
Access to Moreton
Disliked: Access - signage & location could be better advertised. Waze, sometimes misroutes. Take the B3390 into Hurst road, then immediately turn left.
Only one shower (the first one) was warm - I couldn't get a warm shower from the other 3, despite following instructions.

Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked: This site ticked all our boxes, pitch where you like, gazebo included, 1 dog included, river on site and access to the Dorset coast within 10 minutes drive.
Everything was clean and tidy, and the member of staff was really friendly and helpful. On the hottest day we stayed at the campsite and enjoyed the river in the shade as there are tables and inner tubes provided. Fire pits were great in the evenings to with options for coals and a cooking grill if you wanted to bbq.
On a clear night the stars come out in force and we were lucky to see the meteor shower and the northern lights.
A lovely, clean no frills site which we certainly plan to visit again.
Disliked: Nothing to dislike.
