Liked: The site was very peaceful and quiet, with great facilities and a very clean, comfortable and spacious tent with lots of privacy and fantastic views. The kitchenette was perfect, and included everything we needed for cooking and eating. We were made to feel very welcome from the moment we arrived and even got to feed the alpacas, which our daughters loved! We will definitely be back!

Very friendly hosts.
Amazing view from right out the tent.
The tent is very sturdy and has kept us dry on our stormy first night!
Excellent location to explore Exmoor and a short distance to Dartmoor.

Liked: The owners were very helpful and inviting, the tents are very spacious and roomy inside and the facility’s we’re great as everything was thought of from cooking to cleaning, the toilets and showers were clean and easy to use with a touch of luxury, with each tent having it’s own space was great as didn’t feel like you were cramped in, the alpacas on site were a hit with the kids and very adorable, to top it off with amazing views over the rolling hills of the Devon countryside while relaxing with a bbq and outdoor fire pit was a great way to relax on the evenings, the site is situated in a great location where you can travel to all the main locations in the area from beaches, towns and quiet villages, (did take more pictures but they all had my kids in so didn’t want to upload) can’t wait to return 10/10

Liked: Good beds and most things worked well. The hosts were really friendly and helped us out with extra blankets as the nights were cold.
Disliked: We felt the cooking setup didn't really work. The unit was far too small with nowhere to put plates or chop veg. It would make more sense to have a designated cooking area in the washing up tent with more room to spread out.
The site was a bit sparse and plain and could do with cheering up. Some more plants, a bit of colour to make it more welcoming.

From the manager: Please see reviews above and below for the same accommodation and experience.
I will endeavour to put more plants outside the marquee although most people come to experience the farm, moorland views and night skies.
Sorry the kitchen space in your 5m bell tent wasn’t big enough for you. As your request for blankets was met, so would your request for an extra table have been met. I hope you find what your looking for in your next rural camping experience. All the best Becky and James.
