What customers say
Peaceful, welcoming site with a relaxed vibe. Guests love the friendly owners, clean facilities (hot showers!), and spacious pitches. Family & dog-friendly, with a dog area. Note: showers sometimes too hot, some facilities need updates, and road noise is occasional.

Enjoyed our stay! Would consider a coming back again.
Powered grass campsite
Liked Lovely small site with electricity available.
Well kept and friendly owners.
Laid back approach- no specific check out time made it a lot less stressful.
Beautiful skies at night
Little light pollution
Dog and child friendly
Trees for shade
Disliked The hot taps and shower are piping hot.
This made showing with children difficult and concerned about scolding because each time you pressed the shower button (felt like every 30 seconds) the temperature increased.
Could do with longer between button presses and regulated/ set temperature control.
Slightly off the beaten track- at least 30mins/ 1hour to main shops or beach.
WiFi offered but not great, phone signal on EE was slow too

Brilliant site, clean facilities, friendly staff and level pitches.
Powered cement/asphalt campsite
Liked Owners were brilliant and very accommodating, very polite any helpful. Site itself is a good size, level ground all over, solid plots are also really good. Toilet/shower block is close which is really good. Very quiet site which is also brilliant. Best thing is it’s open all year round, dogs are free and you can use fire pits or rent them. Small stocked shop with the basics in aswell as kids toys etc and they do ice cream which is decent.
Highly recommended
Disliked I didn’t really dislike anything to be honest but maybe only downfall is there is nothing around locally apart from diverton which is small so would suggest going to Tiverton, however this doesn’t really effect the site itself. So 5* for me!

Lovely site close to Exmoor for a relaxing stay
Powered grass campsite
Liked Spacious and well kept site. Quiet and relaxing. Facilities all kept in good order and sufficient for the number of visitors. Hosts friendly and welcoming. Small shop had supplies if you needed them. Street food van on Wednesday night was fun!
Disliked Had to drive for supermarket or pub, but small price to pay for such a good site.

I wouldn’t go again, but do recommend it for couples.
Powered grass campsite
Liked It’s a peaceful and small camping ground, the couple who run it are lovely. But that’s all there isn’t much you can do there. I guess if you want to get away for some tranquillity and peace go for it. But not really a big one if you have small children.
Disliked The showers and washing up area including the washing machine (which was broken) need some updating but that’s not such a big let down .

Liked The peaceful quiet atmosphere on the site.
The friendly host who were approachable, eager to help and friendly. Offering advice on amenities activities and food.
The great location close to tourist sites, exmoor herds and beautiful viewpoints. Convenient location to main road to coast.
Clean bathroom and washing facilities stocked with necessary cleaning items (bowls and wash racks, washing liquid and cloths).
Disliked No designated area for children but wasn't made to feel unwelcome that the children played football on open spaces. There was a friendly compromise
