Coast walks, beach days, outdoor adventures, family days out… whatever it is that brings you to this part of Devon, you’ll have a great base at Dartmouth Caravan Park. This family-friendly site (which also welcomes your family dogs) is part of a farm that’s surrounded by the stunning south Devon countryside and easily accessed from the main road to Dartmouth. The harbour town’s shops, activities, attractions and places to eat are a couple of miles away, and there’s a handy bus stop just outside the site for easy trips to town via public transport. Dartmouth itself has plenty of things to keep you busy, especially if you take a ferry across the river to explore all the things on the Kingswear side as well. It’s far from the only option for a day out though – in fact, this area is pretty packed with things to do, with huge sandy beaches, a theme park, a zoo and the huge expanse of Dartmoor National Park all within a half-hour drive. And that’s before you’ve even planned trips to nearby towns like Totnes and Salcombe or the fishing village of Brixham. That’s a lot to fit in, so it’s good to know that Dartmouth Caravan Park is comfortable enough to settle in for several days, with spacious pitches that have access to wifi and a dog park as well as a clean modern bathroom block with accessible facilities.

Power optional grass and gravel campsite

Liked: Beautiful clean facility block,
Warm showers, hairdryer, toilets, outside washing area.

Flat gravel pitch beautiful view

Disliked: Shower block - the changing area got soaking wet as the shower was so powerful covering the whole cubicle even though some was partitioned off.

Additional £6 a day electric hookup - even if you didn’t use the full £6 the next person got charged the full amount at £6 but then carried on using the previous persons credit, we only used around £3 one night .

Quite a while from shops ect
One Sainsbury’s up road and a
pub -( expensive)

Power optional grass and gravel campsite

Liked: The site was beautiful, with very lovely large pitches. We opted for the hard standing with electric. The site is new and the toilet and shower facilities were spotlessly clean and very warm which was great. The views were amazing and there is some really pretty dog walks from the site. The bus stops right outside of the site which made visiting Dartmouth and the surrounding area really easy and we did not have to keep on packing up the van. We would highly recommend visiting this site.

Power optional grass and gravel campsite

Liked: This is a great site for visiting Dartmouth and surrounding areas. There are bus stops about 50 yards from the entrance to the site which will take you into Dartmouth or to Totnes so no need to use your car/motorhome once you are set up.
The pitches are hardstanding and newly landscaped so are completely level, you also get your own area with a bench next to your pitch which is a really nice touch.
The toilet and washroom facilities are outstanding, they are heated throughout with heated flooring and always immaculately clean.
It has an enclosed dog walk which was really good for our dog to have a runabout before we headed down in to Dartmouth.
Abi the owner was always friendly and very helpful.
They have really gone all out to make this a great site, with excellent facilities and in a beautiful part of the countryside.
We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be returning.
Thanks Abi for making it a lovely stay.

Disliked: Nothing
